Check your PC against AION 2’s published requirements
Steam lists these Windows PC requirements for AION 2. They are eligibility specifications, not performance benchmarks: meeting the recommended tier does not guarantee smooth play, and the listing does not say that falling short causes a particular crash or disconnect.

Make a quick comparison
- Check the Windows edition and whether your CPU and graphics card meet at least the minimum tier.
- Confirm the PC has the listed amount of RAM and that the GPU matches the stated model and video memory.
- Make sure at least 100 GB is free. Steam recommends an SSD, but does not claim that installing on one fixes crashes or stuttering.
- Note your display resolution and current graphics preset before changing settings.
AION 2 keeps crashing or crashes on startup
The official support material located for this guide did not include a crash-specific troubleshooting article. A Steam Community notice updated October 2, 2026 surfaced as a known-issues notice, but the available excerpt did not provide a crash remedy. Therefore, there is no source-backed basis here to promise that verifying game files, changing compatibility settings, disabling overlays, altering antivirus settings, or reinstalling will resolve an AION 2 crash.
Record useful details before contacting support
If AION 2 crashes on startup or repeatedly closes during play, note when it happens and capture the exact error text or code, if one appears. Include your launcher and game version and any recent relevant changes. Then submit an inquiry through the AION 2 Global support route if the problem persists. These details help describe the issue; they are not a repair procedure.

AION 2 stuttering: use the published FHD preset as a baseline
Steam’s guidance for FHD (1080p) is to use Very Low at the minimum specification tier and Low at the recommended tier. Treat this as the store’s compatibility baseline, not a tested stutter fix or a guarantee of a particular frame rate.

- If your PC is around the minimum tier, compare your current FHD preset with Very Low.
- If it meets the recommended tier, compare your current FHD preset with Low.
- If you play above FHD, the published preset guidance cited here does not establish which settings to use at that resolution.
The available official sources do not provide an AION 2-specific stuttering fix, benchmark, frame-rate figure, or tested settings comparison. If stuttering continues, record when it occurs, your resolution and preset, and your PC specifications for a support inquiry rather than treating an unverified tweak as an official remedy.

AION 2 connection problem: distinguish login failure from a disconnect
Steam lists broadband internet as a requirement. The official support results located for this guide did not provide a network troubleshooting sequence or establish whether servers are currently experiencing an outage. They also do not substantiate claims that changing ports, DNS, VPN, firewall rules, or a latency threshold will fix an AION 2 connection problem.
When reporting the issue, specify whether you cannot log in, are disconnected after entering the game, or experience high latency. Include when it happens and any displayed error, then use the official support inquiry route for a persistent problem.

Account access is a separate issue
NC/PLAYNC’s support guidance says existing PURPLE players can use Steam with the same Steam login, or link Steam to an existing NC account if they previously used another login method. This addresses account access continuity; it is not a network fix. See the Steam/PURPLE account access FAQ.
What these checks can—and cannot—tell you
The published requirements and FHD preset advice help you check whether your PC aligns with the store’s stated specifications and baseline settings. They do not identify the cause of a particular crash, stutter, or connection failure. If those checks do not clarify the problem, collect the symptom details and ask AION 2 Global support rather than assuming a generic PC adjustment is a confirmed game-specific fix.
