What to prepare before transferring
- Charge both phones to at least 30%, as Xiaomi advises.
- Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both devices.
- Install or update Mi Mover on each phone. Xiaomi’s support page lists its location on Xiaomi phones as Settings > About phone > Mi Mover. The menu can vary by model or software version; search Settings if you do not see it.
- Keep the phones close, their screens on, and Mi Mover in the foreground while it runs.

Copy from the old phone during Android setup
During the Xiaomi’s initial setup, choose the option to copy apps and data from an old Android phone, then follow the on-screen prompts.
