Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsYou can check several cities in Samsung Clock without changing the time your Galaxy uses. Use World Clock for a list of places, a Dual clock widget for two cities on the home screen if your model offers it, or Roaming clock to see home and local time on the lock screen while traveling.
Choose the right clock for where you need it
| Need | Samsung option | Where it appears |
|---|---|---|
| Check several cities or compare times | World Clock | Clock app |
| Keep two cities visible for everyday reference | Dual clock widget, if available | Home screen |
| See home and local time while roaming | Roaming clock | Lock screen; Always On Display when active |
These options serve different purposes. World Clock tracks selected cities; it does not change the phone’s primary time zone. Roaming clock is designed for travel, while the Dual clock widget is a home-screen option whose availability and setup can vary by Galaxy model and software version.

Check several cities in Samsung Clock
- Open the Clock app and select World Clock.
- Add the cities you want to follow.
- Use the list or map view to see the selected locations. Samsung also describes a time-zone converter for comparing time differences.
The World Clock is the most flexible choice when you need more than two locations or only need to check times occasionally. Samsung’s Clock feature guide describes World Clock’s city times, time comparison, and list and map views.

The phone’s primary time is separate from the cities saved in World Clock. On a Galaxy phone or tablet, open Settings > General management > Date and time. With Automatic date and time enabled, a device connected to a mobile network uses network-provided date and time. Enable Automatic time zone as well if you want the network to select the zone.

To set the main clock manually, turn off the automatic options and choose the date, time, and time zone yourself. Samsung warns that an incorrect manual date or time can interfere with apps and may cause security warnings. If the chosen time zone observes daylight saving time, the device changes the time at the appropriate date.
Samsung notes a narrower exception: Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab models running Android R may no longer support automatic time-zone services, so a user in a country with multiple time zones may need to select a zone manually. This caveat is specific to those tablet models and Android version; it should not be assumed to apply to current Galaxy phones. See Samsung’s date and time settings guidance.

Show two cities on the home screen
If your phone offers a Dual clock widget, add it from the Clock widgets available on your model, then configure its two cities. The exact widget name, selection path, and availability can differ across One UI versions and devices, so check the widgets on the phone itself rather than assuming every Galaxy has the same menu.
Samsung Community users describe this as a two-city home-screen option, but community guidance is supplementary rather than a universal specification. A World Clock widget or another clock displayed on the lock screen, where supported, may have its own city selection separate from the Dual clock widget.

Show home and local time on the lock screen while traveling
- Open Settings > Lock screen and AOD.
- Turn on Roaming clock.
- Choose the region for the local time display.
Samsung says Roaming clock can appear on the lock screen and on Always On Display when AOD is active. The Galaxy Z Fold6 manual describes it as showing both local and home time zones while roaming. Menu labels or behavior can vary by model or carrier. Samsung’s Roaming clock instructions cover the setting.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. If the setting or widget is missing
- For multiple cities, open the Clock app and look for World Clock rather than changing the system time zone.
- For a persistent home-screen display, check the Clock widgets offered by your phone; Dual clock is not guaranteed on every model or software release.
- For home and local travel time on the lock screen, look under Lock screen and AOD for Roaming clock. The feature is intended for roaming and may depend on model or carrier.
- If automatic time-zone selection is unavailable on a Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab running Android R, select the correct zone manually in Date and time settings.
Samsung Community discussions include requests for two lock-screen clocks and for four or more time-zone clocks. Those questions illustrate why it helps to distinguish app-based World Clock, a two-city home-screen widget, and the roaming lock-screen feature; they do not establish a universal lock-screen layout across Galaxy devices. See the Samsung Community discussion for user reports and device-specific guidance.
