To track a Vijay Sales price, open the exact product and variant, capture its page at roughly the same time each day, and log the date, time in IST, displayed price, availability, visible offer terms, and page URL. The screenshots create your own dated record. Vijay Sales’ live Price Drop page shows current listings and deal labels; the available evidence does not establish an official historical price chart or archive.
What to record for a useful price history
A screenshot is a record of what appeared on a page at one moment. It is not proof that the price stayed available continuously, that the item could be purchased at that amount, or that it was the lowest price ever offered.

- Product identity: full product name, model number, and variant such as storage, color, screen size, or bundle.
- Observation time: date and time, consistently recorded in India Standard Time (IST).
- Displayed price: the listed selling price, plus any MRP or discount label shown.
- Availability: in stock, out of stock, Notify Me, or another state visible on the page.
- Offer context: visible coupon, bank, exchange, or other conditions. Do not crop out qualifications that might affect the price.
- Source: the product page URL and the original screenshot file.
Daily manual tracking method
- Open the exact product page. Find the item on Vijay Sales and note its complete model and variant. A different storage tier, color, size, or bundle is a different comparison.
- Record the URL and capture time. Use IST and try to capture at approximately the same time each day so observations are easier to compare.
- Take a screenshot showing identity and price. Use the built-in screenshot feature on your phone or computer. Include enough of the page to identify the item and see the price and any offer or availability qualification. If necessary, capture the relevant section rather than an unrelated full page.
- Log the details beside the image. A spreadsheet or notes file can include date, time, product and variant, displayed price, MRP/discount label, stock state, visible offer terms, and URL.
- Repeat daily and keep originals. Use a consistent filename such as
2026-10-03_product-model.png. Do not overwrite prior captures; retain the original screenshots so later comparisons have a dated record. - Compare like with like. Compare only observations for the same model and variant. If a listing is unavailable, record that state rather than carrying forward the previous price.
Using Vijay Sales’ Price Drop page
The Price Drop category is useful for finding currently listed deals. The page has sorting for price and discount, shows prices with MRP or discount labels, and can display out-of-stock or Notify Me states. Its products and values are live and can change; the category is not, by itself, a record of historical prices.
Capture the individual product detail page for your daily record when possible. A category listing can help you discover an item or see its current listing, but verify the exact model and variant before treating two prices as comparable.

Check the real purchase terms before acting on a drop
A displayed listing price may not equal the final checkout amount. Before buying, revisit the product and confirm availability, offer eligibility and conditions, and any delivery or payment-related charges shown during checkout. Treat each screenshot as a dated observation, not a guarantee of the amount you can pay later.
Can Vijay Sales show historical prices or send price-drop alerts?
The inspected Vijay Sales Price Drop page establishes a live deal listing, not an official historical price chart or archive. The Vijay Sales app’s Google Play description presents it as a shopping app with offers and deals, but does not establish daily price history, saved screenshots, or price-drop notifications; its listing shows an update date of October 18, 2023 (Google Play listing).

Should I keep screenshots of out-of-stock listings?
Yes. Record the unavailable or Notify Me state rather than treating the prior in-stock price as current.
