To check a Steam hardware reservation or order, sign in to Steam Support and open Purchases. For a parcel that has shipped, use the carrier and tracking details in the shipment confirmation email. These are separate checks: the purchase record shows account or order information, while the carrier page follows a dispatched package.
Check your reservation or order in Steam Support
- Go to Steam Support and sign in to the Steam account used for the reservation or purchase. Steam requires authentication to review purchases and provide account-specific help.
- Choose Purchases and look for the hardware reservation or order record.
- If you cannot find the record, or the account information does not resolve your question, use Steam Support’s relevant purchase or hardware help options. Steam lists hardware support, including Steam Deck.
The public support pages do not establish a universal set of reservation-status labels, a current reservation queue, or an estimated availability date for an individual order. Check the signed-in account record or ask Steam Support rather than interpreting an unlisted label or assuming a delivery date.

Track the parcel after it ships
Carrier tracking applies once the hardware has been dispatched; it does not tell you whether an unshipped reservation is still pending. Valve’s hardware shipping FAQ says: “Your order’s carrier and tracking information will be included in your shipment confirmation email.” Find that email, then use its carrier and tracking details to follow the parcel.
Know when an order can still be changed
Valve’s shipping FAQ says an order can be modified or cancelled through the Help Site within 24 hours. After that window, the order is allocated for shipment and cannot be changed or cancelled. If you want a refund after shipment, Valve says to request it through the Help Site after delivery.

When to contact Steam Support
Use Steam Support for a missing purchase record or a payment or delivery problem. Valve’s shipping FAQ directs users with payment or delivery issues to Steam Support. For a parcel already in transit, check the carrier information from the shipment confirmation email; for an account or order question, use the signed-in Purchases section.
