On your console or on the web, open the PlayStation Store and go to Collections → PS5 Pro Enhanced. That official collection is the clearest way to check which games Sony currently identifies as enhanced; you can also search the Store for “PS5 Pro.” Then check the individual game’s listing for details of what its enhancement actually changes.
Find the official PS5 Pro Enhanced collection
- Open the PlayStation Store.
- Go to Collections.
- Select the PS5 Pro Enhanced collection and look for the game.
Sony Support also recommends searching “PS5 Pro” in the Store to find enhanced games. The collection is a live catalog, not a permanent printed list. What the PS5 Pro Enhanced label tells you
PS5 Pro can play PS5 games generally, but Sony says title-specific Pro-enhanced features are available only in selected games and vary by title. A PS5 game running on a Pro console is not, by itself, proof of a specific Pro enhancement. Check the official collection or the game’s Store listing. Sony PS5 Pro features and FAQ.
“Enhanced” does not describe one standard upgrade. Depending on the game, changes may include a higher or more stable frame rate, improved image quality, ray tracing, or AI-assisted upscaling with PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR). How to compare the enhancements in two games
When choosing between titles—or between modes in one title—compare the specific claims rather than relying on a general “better graphics” label:
- Frame rate: Look for the stated target and whether the game describes it as higher or more stable.
- Image quality and resolution: Check what the developer says about visual quality, rendering resolution, and upscaling.
- Ray tracing: Confirm whether the title names ray tracing as a feature of its Pro mode.
- PSSR: Check whether the developer says the game uses PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution.
- Display requirements: Note any display or setup prerequisites stated by Sony or the developer.
These details are title-specific, and a game’s results may also change with updates and depend on the display. Sony’s developer feature illustrates the variation: Guerrilla said the PS5 Pro version of Horizon Forbidden West could match or exceed the regular PS5’s Quality mode at 60 FPS. Naughty Dog described a different approach for its games: a Pro-specific mode rendering at 1440p and upscaling to 4K with PSSR while targeting 60 fps. Why older PS5 Pro game counts can mislead
Sony’s November 2024 launch announcement described a sample of more than 50 games available at launch. That is a dated launch figure, not a current total; the live Store collection is the more useful place to check what is listed now. Sony’s November 4, 2024 launch list.
