Capture a whole webpage in Edge
- Open the webpage in Edge and wait for the content you want to include to load.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+S. Alternatively, select the three-dot Settings and more menu and choose Screenshot. Microsoft also documents the context menu as an entry point. Microsoft’s WebCaptureEnabled policy documentation confirms the feature’s current name, former name, and entry points.
- In the Screenshot interface, choose Capture full page if it is available. Microsoft Q&A community instructions describe this action for capturing a scrolling page, but Microsoft’s policy page does not give a current step-by-step guide to the full-page control. The community guidance includes both the older Web Capture label and the newer Screenshot label.
- Use the controls Edge displays to save or copy the result. Available controls and behavior can differ by version; the cited documentation does not establish a particular image format or save location.
If Capture full page is missing
- Check the current name. Look for Screenshot; Microsoft identifies Web Capture as the former name.
- Try another entry point. Use Ctrl+Shift+S, the Settings and more menu, or the context menu.
- Check whether the device is managed. On a work or school device, an administrator may control the feature through the WebCaptureEnabled policy. If the policy disables it, Screenshot access is unavailable. Ask the device administrator if you cannot change the setting yourself. Microsoft documents the policy.
- Allow for version differences. Community reports do not guarantee that the same control appears on every Edge build or page. If it remains unavailable after checking the entry points and policy, your version may not offer that option in the current interface.

For Snipping Tool, Windows logo key + Shift + S opens the capture overlay, and PrtSc takes a static snapshot of the entire screen.
