How to Take a Full-Page Screenshot in Edge on Windows 10

Open a page in Edge, press Ctrl+Shift+S, and choose Capture full page to save the entire webpage rather than just what is visible onscreen.

In Microsoft Edge, open the webpage, press Ctrl+Shift+S, then select Capture full page. Edge captures content beyond the visible screen, so you do not need to scroll and stitch separate screenshots together. You can review the capture, mark it up, then copy or save it. Microsoft documents this workflow for Edge.

Capture the entire webpage in Edge

  1. Open the webpage in Microsoft Edge.
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+S.
  3. Select Capture full page.
  4. Review the result. Use the available markup tools if needed, then choose the copy or save control.

Microsoft’s Edge Screenshot feature page summarizes the action this way: “Press Ctrl+Shift+S and select Capture full page to grab everything at once, with no scrolling required.” The feature can also be opened from a webpage’s right-click menu or Edge’s Settings menu. Menu names and placement can change between Edge versions; the shortcut is the direct route in Microsoft’s current documentation.

The whole webpage, including content below the visible screen Edge Screenshot: Capture full page A webpage screenshot extending beyond the current screen. Microsoft Edge Screenshot
A visible region, a window, or the whole display Windows Snipping Tool; press Windows logo key+Shift+S to open the capture overlay Freeform, rectangular, window, or full-screen snips. Microsoft documents the tool for Windows 10. Microsoft Support: Snipping Tool
A webpage clipping saved to a notebook OneNote Web Clipper A screenshot clipping with a Full Page option, saved to a notebook. Microsoft OneNote documentation
A printable version or PDF-oriented output Edge print interface, opened with Ctrl+P A print workflow with page selection and print settings, rather than the single screenshot image made by Edge Screenshot. Microsoft Edge print documentation

A full-screen snip records what is on the display; it is not the same as a full-page webpage capture. Use Edge’s full-page option when the target extends below the screen.

If the capture misses page content

Microsoft describes Edge Screenshot as able to capture a full page and moving content such as GIFs or carousels, but its documentation does not establish how every site, iframe, nested scroll area, or dynamically loaded page will behave. Inspect the saved image before relying on it. If content is missing, try the site’s own print or export feature, or capture the relevant visible region separately; those are practical alternatives, not guaranteed fixes for every page.

The official feature descriptions do not specify an Edge build number or a Windows 10-specific variation of this action. If the shortcut or labels differ in your installation, look for Screenshot or Web capture from the page’s right-click menu or Edge Settings. Microsoft uses both terms in its Edge help material.
