How to find the right streaming service for a game
- Look up the exact game. Open the MLB schedule and check its listed network. Do this close to game day because listings may change.
- Check that network in your location. Review the provider’s live channel lineup for your market before subscribing. A service’s national channel list does not guarantee local availability.
- Compare coverage and current terms. Confirm the service carries the needed network, covers the rounds you want, and fits your budget and subscription needs. Check whether its app works on your TV, phone, computer, or streaming device.
- Subscribe only after confirming the details. Prices, trials, channel availability, and geographic restrictions can change. Check the provider’s current offer and terms before checkout.
Live-TV streaming bundles
Sling’s 2026 MLB page displays FOX, FS1, and NBC from $19.99 per month, with TBS available as an add-on from $45.99 per month. These are advertised prices, not a guarantee of your total cost or local channel availability. Sling says FOX and NBC are available only in designated markets and notes that blackout and geographic broadcast restrictions apply. FOX One for FOX games
FOX promotes FOX One as a direct streaming option for FOX-broadcast games, including the World Series. FOX’s page advertises a three-day free trial, but trial availability and terms may change; verify them when subscribing.
What MLB.TV does—and does not—cover in the U.S.
Do not subscribe to MLB.TV expecting live access to every U.S. postseason game. NBC- and Peacock-broadcast Wild Card games are not live on MLB.TV. For select FOX and TBS games, eligible U.S. subscribers must authenticate through a participating pay-TV provider.

Check before you pay
- Network: Does the service carry the exact game’s assigned network?
- Local availability: Is that channel available in your market, and do blackout or geographic restrictions apply?
- Round coverage: Does the service cover the specific postseason games you plan to watch?
- Total cost and terms: What is the current price, and are add-ons, trials, or other conditions involved?
- Device support: Can you watch through an app on a device you already own? A streaming player is only necessary if your existing TV or devices cannot run the required app.
