Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →To stream a Tamil devotional playlist as a YouTube Live loop, prepare recordings and visuals you have rights to use, configure an encoder to repeat the media, connect it to YouTube Live with your stream URL and key, and check the preview before starting the event. YouTube does not specify repeat-playlist controls for every encoder, so test your chosen software and full playback sequence before relying on an unattended stream.
1. Clear the music and recording rights
Confirm you have permission for both the musical compositions and the specific sound recordings in your playlist, covering live streaming and any replay you plan to keep. YouTube’s live-stream terms say creators must have the necessary rights, including music licensing rights, for live content on Google services. A devotional subject or an old composition does not establish that a modern recording is cleared, and buying a CD does not by itself grant livestream rights. Rights can vary by composition, recording, territory, and license.

YouTube’s terms state: “You represent and warrant that You have all necessary rights for the exploitation of the Live Content on the Google Services throughout the world, including, without limitation, music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers (including public performance licenses) and any other royalty participants.” See YouTube’s Terms of Service. Keep copies of licenses or written permissions available.
2. Make sure the channel can go live
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable live streaming well before your planned start. Check YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance for current account requirements.

- Compact but Powerful Design: ZowieBox is smaller than a phone, featuring a tally light and LCD screen for streaming status. Capture console gameplay in up to 4K with zero-lag HDMI passthrough, while the built-in video encoder converts video for IP streaming. The IP stream can also be decoded back to a 4K HDMI signal.
- Standalone Game Streaming: Just plug and play—ZowieBox enables PC-free live gaming without affecting gameplay. As an RTMP hardware encoder and HDMI streamer, it delivers stable streaming directly from your source, making it ideal for gaming, live events, and professional broadcasting.
- NDI|HX3 Converter Technology: ZowieBox converts HDMI signals to NDI|HX3/HX2/HX, functioning as an NDI video encoder, or NDI Video Decoder for flexible IP workflows. Certified NDI technology enables low-latency gameplay streaming through OBS/vMix. Note: Encoder and decoder modes cannot run simultaneously; full NDI signals are not supported.
- UVC to HDMI Conversion: Supporting up to 4K@30fps and 1080p@60fps decoding, ZowieBox enables flexible conversion for webcam and video workflows. As a video decoder and HDMI to IP converter, it expands connectivity options for professional video devices. Note: USB capture card functionality is not currently supported.
- All-around Configuration Options: Control ZowieBox through its web UI on a PC, phone, or tablet. Manage connected PTZ cameras, tally light, video/audio, OSD, work mode, streams, network, and system settings. Support for VISCA over IP encoder workflows enables flexible PTZ control, while the dashboard provides video preview and system status.
3. Prepare the playlist and visuals
Assemble the rights-cleared tracks in the intended order and choose a visual, such as a still image or a prepared video. For a music-only devotional stream, a live camera and microphone are not inherently necessary. Add the playlist and visual to an encoder that supports your intended playback workflow, then configure its media source or playlist to repeat.
Repeat controls depend on the encoder and its version; YouTube’s help pages do not prescribe a universal playlist-repeat setting. Test the whole sequence, including the transition from the last item back to the first, and listen for gaps, abrupt changes, or audio problems before going live. YouTube lists OBS among encoders that support HLS output, but that listing does not establish that a particular OBS version or configuration will repeat your playlist as needed. See YouTube’s encoder and streaming protocol guidance.

4. Create the YouTube Live event and connect the encoder
- Open YouTube Studio and go to Live Control Room. Create or schedule the live stream.
- Copy the stream server URL and stream key shown for the event into the corresponding fields in your encoder.
- Keep the stream key private. YouTube describes it as functioning like a password/address for the encoder; do not show it in a public screenshot or overlay. See YouTube’s encoder setup instructions.
- Choose the streaming protocol supported by your encoder. YouTube recommends RTMPS where available. HLS is another option in supported workflows, but it has higher latency and requires its own ingestion settings. Check the current guidance at YouTube’s recommended live encoder settings.
5. Choose settings your upload connection can sustain
Select a resolution and bitrate that your internet connection can maintain throughout the stream. YouTube advises keeping upload bandwidth at least 20% above the total stream bitrate. For example, if the encoder’s total outgoing bitrate is 5 Mbps, aim for at least 6 Mbps of available upload capacity. This is headroom for the stream, not a guarantee against local network interruptions.

Use YouTube’s recommended settings for your chosen resolution and protocol rather than assuming that a higher bitrate is always better. Test the connection and monitor stream health in Live Control Room. The current recommendations are at YouTube’s encoder settings page.

6. Start the stream and verify it before going public
- Start the encoder so it sends the prepared playlist to YouTube.
- Wait for the incoming video to appear in the Live Control Room preview. Check that the picture, audio level, and playlist order are correct.
- Start the scheduled or public event only after the preview looks and sounds right.
- Monitor the stream and its health while it runs, especially at the beginning and around playlist transitions.
YouTube recommends checking the preview and stream health before and during transmission. See YouTube’s live streaming settings guidance.
7. Know what can happen with Content ID
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can cause YouTube to replace the stream with a placeholder or interrupt or terminate it. A stream can also receive a Content ID claim after it ends and is archived. If you have a license but the stream is still flagged, check the notices in Live Control Room or Studio and ask the relevant rightsholder whether it can add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. A license does not guarantee that automated matching will not interrupt the stream. Details are in YouTube’s guidance on live-streaming copyrighted content.

8. End cleanly and plan for a replay
End the event through the encoder and YouTube’s live controls when the session is finished. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, recommends keeping a local recording as a backup, and warns that streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If retaining a replay matters, plan a session under 12 hours and record locally too. See YouTube’s live-stream archiving guidance.
Choosing a setup for a continuous devotional loop
YouTube supports both encoder software and hardware encoders. For a prepared playlist and visual rather than a live camera production, a dedicated capture device is not inherently required. Compare options by whether they can repeat your actual media reliably, remain stable for the intended duration, sustain the selected bitrate on your upload connection, and make a local recording. If you use licensed music, also consider whether the rightsholder will allowlist your channel if Content ID matching requires it. Test the exact encoder configuration before depending on it for a long unattended session.
