To run a Sundarkand path continuously on YouTube Live, create a live stream in YouTube Studio, send it a live audio/video feed from an encoder, and keep the encoder, internet connection, and monitoring in place. The feed can be a live recitation, prerecorded material, or a mix—but you need the rights for every recording, performance, track, image, and video you use. A 24/7 stream is an operating goal, not a guarantee: YouTube or your connection can interrupt it.
Before you set up the stream
Confirm the channel can go live
YouTube’s current eligibility guidance says live streamers must be at least 16, have a verified channel, and have had no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Enabling live streaming for the first time may take up to 24 hours, so do this before your planned launch rather than on the day. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance and encoder setup instructions.

Decide what the audience will hear and see
Choose whether the program is a live recitation, a loop of a recording, or a combination. Plan the video as well as the sound: for example, a camera feed, a still image, or visual material you have permission to use. A devotional subject does not automatically make a particular recording or production free to broadcast.

YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can cause a placeholder to replace the stream, interrupt it, or terminate it. Rights can differ between the Sundarkand text, a specific recitation recording, a performer’s rendition, backing music, cover art, and footage. YouTube’s livestream terms require the provider to have the rights needed for worldwide exploitation, including music rights. Review YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance and its Terms of Service before broadcasting.

Manage connected PTZ cameras, tally light, video/audio, OSD, work mode, streams, network, and system settings. Support for VISCA over IP encoder workflows enables flexible PTZ control, while the dashboard provides video preview and system status.
A license does not necessarily stop an automated interruption: if a rights owner uses Content ID, ask whether your channel needs to be added to that owner’s allowlist. Do not assume a live performance or a prerecorded loop is exempt from copyright checks.
Set up a YouTube Live feed with an encoder
An encoder takes your audio and video and sends the stream to YouTube. YouTube supports both software encoders running on a computer and standalone hardware encoders. External microphones, preamps, and cameras are optional production inputs; they are not required by YouTube. A software setup may avoid buying a dedicated encoder, while hardware may suit a production built around separate audio and video equipment. Choose based on your production needs, not an assumption that either type guarantees uninterrupted operation.

- Enable live streaming: verify the channel and enable live streaming in YouTube Studio. Allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation.
- Create or schedule the broadcast: in YouTube Studio, open Create > Go live, then create or schedule a stream in Live Control Room. Follow the current on-screen flow to set the title, visibility, and other stream details.
- Copy the connection details: copy the stream URL and stream key shown in Live Control Room into the corresponding fields in your encoder. The key is a credential: do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not be able to send a feed to your channel. If it is exposed, use YouTube’s reset process and update the encoder with the replacement key.
- Prepare the program feed: connect your chosen audio and video inputs, or configure the prerecorded program in the encoder you selected. Check that the correct audio source is selected and that the picture or intended visual is present.
- Start the encoder and preview: start sending the feed, then check it in Live Control Room before relying on it. Confirm the stream appears and that the sound and picture are correct.
- Start the YouTube broadcast: when the preview and stream details are ready, start the live stream from Live Control Room according to its current controls. Open the watch page and check playback on a phone as well as your usual viewing device.

The total outgoing stream bitrate must fit within the available upload bandwidth. YouTube recommends leaving 20% headroom above the stream bitrate; this is a recommended reserve, not a guarantee of service. Check the actual upload connection where the encoder will run, and account for other devices or applications sharing it. YouTube’s streaming tips explain bandwidth planning and monitoring.

- Test the full audio chain at the expected listening level; listen for silence, clipping, hum, or an unintended microphone.
- Check that the encoder’s preview shows the intended image and that the watch page plays the stream.
- Test playback on mobile, where viewers may experience the stream differently from the production monitor.
- Keep the stream key private and confirm that the encoder is using the intended stream and channel.
Operate the stream and plan for interruptions
A continuous broadcast needs someone responsible for watching both the encoder and YouTube’s stream status. Monitor audio and video, connection warnings, and any copyright notices; respond to encoder, network, or rights problems rather than treating “24/7” as unattended by definition. YouTube recommends continuously monitoring a live stream.
If a copyright warning appears, stop or replace the flagged material and resolve the rights issue. An unresolved match can interrupt or terminate the broadcast. Keep an authorized alternative program ready if continuity matters, but only use material cleared for the same purpose and territories.

One long broadcast or shorter sessions?
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its help guidance does not promise automatic archiving for broadcasts that run 12 hours or longer. If you need a complete copy, arrange a local recording or plan shorter sessions; that is an operational precaution, not a guarantee that YouTube will preserve a long stream. See YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance.

| What you see | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start a live stream | The channel is not verified, has a live-stream restriction, or first-time activation is still processing. | Check eligibility in YouTube Studio and allow up to 24 hours after enabling live streaming for the first time. |
| The encoder cannot connect to YouTube | The stream URL or key is incorrect, the key was reset, or the outgoing connection is unavailable. | Compare the encoder settings with the current URL and key in Live Control Room. If the key was exposed or reset, replace it in the encoder. Check the network connection. |
| The stream is unstable or drops | Upload capacity may be insufficient or shared, or the encoder or network may have failed. | Check available upload bandwidth against the total stream bitrate, retaining YouTube’s recommended 20% reserve. Monitor the encoder and connection; do not assume a long broadcast will recover without intervention. |
| There is no sound or the wrong sound | The encoder is using the wrong input, a connection is loose, or the source itself is silent. | Check the selected audio source and physical connections, then listen to the encoder preview and watch page before continuing. |
| The stream is replaced, interrupted, or terminated | YouTube detected third-party content, or a rights owner’s Content ID settings are affecting the channel. | Stop or replace the flagged material, resolve the rights issue with the relevant owner, and ask about channel allowlisting where applicable. |
| A long stream has no complete YouTube archive | The broadcast lasted 12 hours or longer; automatic archiving is specified for streams under 12 hours. | For future broadcasts, arrange a local recording or divide the program into shorter sessions if an archive is important. |
Monetization is channel-dependent
YouTube says eligible creators may monetize live streams with ads and Super Chat, and some channels have memberships. These options depend on the channel’s current eligibility and settings; confirm access in YouTube Studio rather than promising them for a particular stream. See YouTube Partner Program eligibility.
