You can run a 24/7 Jain stavan channel on YouTube by sending a continuous program from an encoder or a cloud streaming service—but first secure rights for every recording, composition, and visual, and arrange Content ID allowlisting where needed. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content; a match can replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it. A devotional purpose does not itself grant rebroadcast permission.
Clear the rights before building the playlist
For every stavan, verify rights to both the underlying composition and the specific sound recording. Permission for one does not necessarily cover the other. Ask the relevant rights holders whether their permission covers continuous YouTube livestreaming, the territories you intend to reach, monetization if planned, and any replay, clip, or later reuse. Check visual assets—such as artwork, lyrics, logos, and animations—separately.

- Do not assume a traditional melody, old text, temple performance, or an existing YouTube upload is free to rebroadcast. The rights status of any particular Jain stavan or recording must be established with its rights holders.
- If the recording is registered in Content ID, ask its owner or distributor to add your channel to the Content ID allowlist before testing. YouTube advises this even when you have licensed the material, because an unallowlisted channel may still be interrupted. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.
- Keep written permissions and rights-holder contact details accessible to whoever operates the stream.
Catalogues can help you identify potential rights-holder leads, but they are not rebroadcast licenses. Saregama Jain Stavans describes a Jain devotional catalogue and identifies Saregama India Limited as the label on a Jain stavan release (“Non-Stop Jain Stavan Bhavana”). Stavan describes a service with Jain bhajans, music, videos, and playlists (About Us). Contact the actual rights holders for the recordings you select; neither catalogue’s availability establishes permission for your channel.

Choose how to keep the broadcast running

YouTube’s Services Directory lists providers that may offer encoding, redundancy, or local archiving. It does not endorse a particular encoder or establish any provider’s specific 24/7 capability; confirm those details directly.

Set up and rehearse the YouTube live broadcast
- Check channel readiness. Confirm live streaming is enabled and review YouTube Studio for restrictions before relying on the channel’s schedule. Eligibility and restrictions depend on the specific channel, so verify them there.
- Create the broadcast and connect an encoder. Use YouTube’s live workflow or its documented broadcast-management interface, then send the program through an encoder. The YouTube Live Streaming API guide to a broadcast’s lifecycle describes the broadcast workflow and archive-setting context.
- Protect the stream key. Treat the key used to connect your encoder as a credential. Enter it only in the intended encoder or service, and reset it if it is exposed. Keep the playlist and encoder configuration backed up.
- Run a private or unlisted technical rehearsal. Check continuous playback, audio levels, visuals, stream health, and what happens after a connection interruption. A technical rehearsal can reveal setup problems; it cannot establish rights or guarantee that a later stream will avoid a Content ID match.
- Monitor the live session. Assign a person or service to watch the YouTube dashboard and respond to warnings or a stopped broadcast. A 24/7 schedule is an operating target, not a guarantee that an encoder, network, or platform connection will never fail.
- Prepare recovery and redundancy. Decide who will restart the broadcast after power, network, or encoder failure, and how they will restore the source playlist and configuration. If you use a provider, verify its actual monitoring and recovery coverage rather than assuming those services are included.
Plan the archive separately from the live schedule
A continuous live schedule and a complete replay are different requirements. YouTube says archived live streams may receive Content ID claims after the stream ends, even when the live session was not interrupted. The broadcast lifecycle also has archive settings, but the available guidance does not establish that one 24-hour event will produce a complete replay. If you need an archive, confirm the current YouTube behavior, test your intended workflow, and obtain permission for the replay as well as the live use. Consider shorter segments or a separate archive process.

- The stream is interrupted or replaced with a placeholder. YouTube may have detected third-party content. Review the live dashboard and the relevant rights information; if you licensed the material, ask the owner to allowlist your channel through Content ID. Do not assume a license alone prevents an automated interruption.
- The broadcast stops after a local failure. Check power, network, encoder status, and the source playlist. Follow your restart procedure and confirm the live session is active again in YouTube Studio.
- The live stream worked, but the replay receives a claim. YouTube may apply Content ID to an archived stream after it ends. Review the claim and the scope of your permission; live-use permission may not cover an archive or later reuse.
- A chosen track appears in a catalogue but permission is unclear. Catalogue availability is not a license. Identify the composition and recording rights holders and obtain permission for the intended uses before scheduling it.
