Use the Cube for items you need on your current character, Character Storage for items that stay with that character, and Server Storage for eligible items another character on the same server may need. Before depositing an item, check its tooltip for storage restrictions. You also may not need to withdraw crafting materials: a January 28, 2026 update notice says Character Warehouse items can be used directly for several crafting and progression activities.
AION2’s official global launch is scheduled for October 5, 2026. The detailed capacities, access rules, and recovery procedures below come from an unofficial guide or a pre-launch update snapshot, so confirm them in the global client rather than assuming regional rules apply.

Choose the right place for each item
AION2 uses a carried inventory called the Cube, plus Character Warehouse and Server Warehouse storage. NCSOFT announced the choice between character-specific and server-wide storage; the more detailed container descriptions below are from an unofficial guide and may vary by build.

Sort items before you deposit them
Use a simple rule based on who needs the item and when. This is a practical organizing approach, not a mandatory in-game system.
- Keep immediate-use items in the Cube. Carry only what the current character needs soon, such as equipment or supplies for the activity you are doing.
- Put character-specific stock in Character Storage. This keeps it off the carried inventory without making it a server-shared item.
- Use Server Storage for eligible handoffs. Deposit items there when another character on the same server is meant to use them.
- Check the tooltip before moving anything. Storage eligibility is item-specific; bound status alone does not establish whether Server Storage will accept an item, according to the guide.
If Server Storage rejects an item, do not assume that it is lost or that binding is the only issue. Check its tooltip and use Character Storage if the item is accepted there.

Use warehouse materials without repeatedly withdrawing them
NCSOFT’s January 28, 2026 update notes say items in Character Warehouse can be used directly for crafting, material conversion, supply requests, and integrated enhancement. The same notice says warehouse items can also be used as inheritance materials, subject to item eligibility. In those cases, moving everything into the Cube first may be unnecessary.

Check which warehouse is selected before depositing items, then set each quick-storage configuration to suit the items you routinely sort. These interface details are from the update-notes snapshot; confirm the labels and behavior in the global client.

Remote storage and Quick Store
The unofficial guide describes Quick Store as a one-action deposit of matching items through remote storage. It also says remote access depends on membership in the client it covers. Treat both the feature name and access terms as build-specific, and check the in-game interface and current membership description before relying on them.
Capacity and expansion: verify the live values
Aion 2 Maps’ September 28, 2026 guide reports a snapshot of 40 Cube slots and 25 slots each for Server Storage and Character Storage. It describes warehouse expansion in five-slot lines, rising Kina costs by line, and separate limits for Kina-paid and voucher expansion. These are unofficial guide figures, not confirmed global-launch capacities or prices.

The same guide reports that an expansion voucher opens one line and that a warehouse can reach 80 lines, while Kina expansion has a lower cap. Because those claims rely on the guide’s mixed sources, including client or datamined material, do not use them as an authoritative global rule. Check the in-game expansion screen for your current capacity, price, and available expansion methods.

Aion 2 Maps reports a Recover Item menu for certain accidental sales, extractions, and Soul Sync material use. Its guide describes a three-day recovery window and annual recovery limits by action, but those rules are not independently confirmed in the official global material cited here. If you make a mistake, open the in-game recovery menu promptly and consult current official support guidance; do not count on an item being recoverable or on a particular time limit until you verify the global-client rules.
