To see fewer recommended Shorts from a particular channel, open the three-dot More menu beside one of its recommendations and select Don’t recommend channel. YouTube documents this option on certain recommendation pages, including Home and Watch Next; it is recommendation feedback, not a promise to block the channel across YouTube.
Tell YouTube not to recommend a specific channel
- On YouTube Home or Watch Next, find a recommended Short, video, or post from the channel.
- Open the three-dot More menu beside that item.
- Select Don’t recommend channel.
YouTube describes this control for recommendations on certain pages. It does not establish that the channel will disappear from search results, subscriptions, direct links, or every other YouTube surface. YouTube says these recommendation controls provide feedback to help tune what it recommends. Undo recommendation feedback or change history settings
Delete “Not interested” feedback
If you want to undo this feedback, open My Activity, find YouTube “Not interested” feedback, and delete it. YouTube says this feedback may be used to tune recommendations. The documented deletion applies to “Not interested” feedback; it is not described as a channel-block toggle.

Manage watch and search history
YouTube says watch and search history can influence recommendations. You can delete or turn off history for experiences that rely on it. This changes broader personalization; it is not a control for hiding just one channel. Manage or delete YouTube search and watch history
