If an idle clicker keeps pulling your attention from work, first remove the cue that is catching you: mute its alerts, hide its window, or both. If you still open it out of habit, use a tool that pauses or blocks the game during a defined work period. Notification silencing and access blocking are different controls, and the right one depends on what is distracting you.
Find the interruption you need to stop
Notice what breaks your attention before changing settings. A sound, banner, badge, or flashing taskbar icon calls for notification controls. A visible game window is a visual cue, so close or minimize it. If you open the game even when it is quiet and out of sight, you need an access restriction rather than another notification setting.

Silence alerts and hide the game first

Open Settings > Digital Wellbeing > Focus mode, select the apps to pause, then start Focus mode or set a schedule. Google says selected apps cannot be used and will not send notifications while the mode is active. A time-limited “Take a break” option is available. Menus and availability can vary by device. iPhone
Go to Settings > Focus, choose or create a Focus, then allow or silence selected people and apps and set a schedule if useful. You can also choose a custom Home Screen page to show while that Focus is active. Review exceptions carefully so important calls or time-sensitive notifications are handled as you intend. Open System Settings > Focus, choose or create a Work Focus, configure allowed or silenced apps, and add a schedule if you want it to start automatically. Available Focus filters can customize app behavior; Apple gives Safari tab groups as one example. If you still open the clicker, restrict access
Use an app or website blocker only if its current version actually restricts the game on the device where you play it. A browser-site blocker will not necessarily affect a desktop game or a mobile app. Check supported platforms, scheduling, whether breaks or overrides are available, and whether work-critical sites or apps can remain accessible. A schedule is useful only if it covers the device and version of the game you use.
