In How to Fish, Killscore bonuses are community-reported modifiers that increase a creature’s value after a kill. The most consistently repeated figures are 1.5x for a 360, 1.25x for a headshot, 1.25x for a last-bullet kill, 1.2x for a no-scope kill, and 1.1x for point blank. For a shot at the Impressive 5x achievement, players recommend combining several conditions on one airborne seagull—but the detailed bonus values and exact recipe are not officially confirmed.
What Killscore does
Killscore is described in player guides as a post-kill style modifier: the way you kill a creature can multiply its value before sale. It is separate from cooking, which guides describe as another way to affect value. The retrieved sources do not establish an official production formula or explain precisely how Killscore interacts with cooking. NerdsChalk’s guide and other community guides should therefore be treated as reports of observed behavior, not developer specifications.

Killscore multiplier list: what is reported
The shorter list below is the most defensible quick reference because its five figures recur across two guides. They remain community measurements, not developer-confirmed values. The triggers are reported descriptions, and detailed requirements—such as the exact angle or timing for a 360—are not settled.

| Bonus | Reported multiplier | Reported trigger | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| 360 | 1.5x | Complete a full spin before firing; fire from the hip. | Figure recurs in two guides; precise execution details remain community claims. |
| Headshot | 1.25x | The killing shot hits the creature’s head. | Figure recurs in two guides. |
| Last Bullet | 1.25x | The kill uses the magazine’s final round. | Figure recurs in two guides. |
| No Scope | 1.2x | Fire from the hip without aiming down sights. | Figure recurs in two guides. |
| Point Blank | 1.1x | Kill at very close range. | Figure recurs in two guides. |
| Killsteal | Not verified in the shorter list | Kill a creature another player is already fighting. | Reported, but no value is given there. |
| Fly Fishing | Not verified in the shorter list | Kill a creature while airborne. | Reported, but no value is given there. |
| Overkill | Not verified in the shorter list | Deal more damage than needed to kill. | Reported, but no value is given there. |
| Finally | Not verified in the shorter list | Described as an additional style bonus. | Trigger and value are unclear in that source. |
A longer community list assigns figures to more bonuses—including 1.3x for Killsteal, 1.5x for Dogfight, Longshot, and multikill tiers—and describes some categories as mutually exclusive. Other guides repeat parts of that account, but the detailed values and triggers are not independently established by developer documentation, and lists differ in scope. See the community wiki’s Killscore entry, Gameplay Tips’ guide, and How to Fish 101’s guide as provisional player-reported measurements, not a definitive full list.

How stacking is reported to work
Guides agree that compatible bonuses multiply rather than add, so one kill can qualify for several styles and produce a larger total. Detailed community tables also report that some condition groups cannot combine, including scope state, distance, and aerial state. Those exclusions are community-reported behavior rather than an official ruleset; do not assume every listed condition can apply to the same shot.
How to attempt the Impressive 5x achievement
NerdsChalk’s reported approach is to find an airborne seagull, line up a long-range headshot, and combine it with other qualifying conditions. It recommends a hitscan shotgun or sniper for the attempt. This is a suggested route, not a guaranteed recipe: some bonus values are uncertain, the guides do not establish every stacking interaction, and execution or game updates may change the outcome.

- Look for an airborne seagull. This gives you a potential aerial condition, referred to in the shorter list as Fly Fishing.
- Set up a distant headshot. A long-range kill and a headshot are among the conditions the suggested route tries to combine.
- Add compatible style conditions. If your weapon and shot allow it, try a hipfire shot or a 360 before firing. Do not assume these bonuses stack with every distance or aerial category.
- Check the result in-game. Use the kill banner and achievement progress to confirm what counted in your current version.
The guides do not establish a single empirically best weapon. Their weapon advice is part of the reported strategy, not a controlled comparison.
How to get the Noob achievement
Community guidance says Noob requires a kill with no multiplier. One suggested approach is to use a grounded, still target and avoid stylistic actions. The reported goal is an ordinary kill rather than a shot designed to trigger a Killscore condition.

Should you farm Killscore for money?
Killscore can raise a creature’s sale value according to community guides, but that does not make elaborate multiplier farming the most efficient money route. One guide cautions that arranging complicated kills may take longer than ordinary fishing. Treat achievement attempts and income farming as different goals: a setup that pursues a high multiplier may be worthwhile for the achievement, while a straightforward route may be more practical when time matters.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How current are these figures?
The sources are community and gaming guides, not an official multiplier specification. NerdsChalk’s short list was updated August 24, 2026; Gameplay Tips is dated August 26, 2026; the community wiki says it checked the topic September 2, 2026; and How to Fish 101 says it was updated September 22, 2026. Because game patches may change mechanics, confirm a bonus in your current game version rather than treating these figures as permanent.
