To solve Haunted Library Puzzle #7 in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s 2026 Haunted Floating Festival, unlock the Haunted House bedroom by progressing through Puzzle 6, then place four books on their matching shelves—in the front room, hallway, storage room, and bedroom. Complete the Memory Orb image puzzle that appears after the last book to earn the Chomping Chest.
Before you start: unlock the bedroom
Travel to the Haunted Floating Festival island through the Plaza portal or the Event tab. The event is scheduled to run from October 7 through October 31, 2026, according to the official event announcement.

Puzzle 7 depends on Puzzle 6: continue through the Haunted Key steps until the Haunted House bedroom door opens. The first book is beside a bookshelf near the back-left side of the bedroom. If you cannot reach that room, keep progressing Puzzle 6 before looking for the book.

1. Return the bat book to the animal shelf
Pick up Boo! The Big Book of Bat Facts in the bedroom and take it to the animal book shelf in the front room. This reveals Frightening Flowers.
2. Put the flower book in the hallway
Take Frightening Flowers to the flower shelf in the hallway. The next book, The Chilling Cosmos, appears.

3. Put the cosmos book in storage
Place The Chilling Cosmos on the space shelf in the storage room. This reveals Terrifying Tunes.
4. Return the music book to the bedroom
Take Terrifying Tunes to the music shelf in the bedroom. A Memory Orb appears nearby.

Complete the Memory Orb puzzle
Interact with the Memory Orb and rotate and place its pieces to form the finished story image. The puzzle is a reorder-story image challenge. The walkthrough describes the objective but does not provide the individual piece positions in its text, so use the image on the walkthrough if you need a visual reference rather than relying on an unverified arrangement.
When the image is complete, the library puzzle is marked finished and you receive the Chomping Chest furniture item.
