In Chrome for Android, open the page, tap More beside the address bar, tap Share, then choose an app. To send the page to one of your own devices, use Send to your devices; to share it with someone nearby without choosing a messaging app, create a QR code.
Share a link through an app
- Open Chrome on your Android device and go to the webpage.
- Tap More beside the address bar, then tap Share.
- Choose an app to send the link. Tap More in the app chooser to see additional options.
The apps shown depend on what is installed on your device. Google’s Chrome Help instructions for Android describe sharing pages through other apps.

Put the Share shortcut beside the address bar
If you share pages often, Chrome may offer a Share shortcut near the search bar. If it is not there, open More > Settings > Toolbar shortcut, then select Share.
Send the page to one of your devices
- Tap the address bar, then tap Share.
- Choose Send to your devices and select the destination device.
You may need to sign in to a Google Account. If no devices appear, Google says you are not signed in to that account on other devices. See Google’s Android instructions for sharing Chrome pages.

Share the page as a QR code
- Open the page, tap More beside the toolbar, then tap Share.
- Choose QR Code and follow the on-screen instructions to share or download the code.
The other person can scan a QR code displayed on your phone with a camera. This is useful when you are together and do not want to select a messaging app. Google documents this option in its Chrome Help page.
Use Quick Share for a nearby device
Quick Share is Android’s nearby-device sharing option and may be available from the Android share menu. Google says it was previously called Nearby Share; some devices may still use that older name. Google lists support for Android 6 and later, Chromebooks, and selected Windows PCs in its Quick Share help. Its appearance in Chrome’s share chooser is not guaranteed, so use another method if you do not see it.

Choose the method that fits

If Share or a destination is missing
- Share is not beside the address bar: use More > Share, or add the shortcut under More > Settings > Toolbar shortcut.
- An app is not listed: tap More in the app chooser to reveal additional apps. The choices depend on the apps installed on your phone.
- No devices appear under Send to your devices: check that you are signed in to your Google Account on the other device.
- Quick Share is missing: it is not guaranteed to appear in every Chrome share interface or device setup. Try app sharing, sending to your devices, or a QR code instead.
Google’s Android Chrome Help page does not specify a publication date or Chrome version for these steps. Menu labels and available share targets may vary as Chrome and Android update, and can depend on your device, installed apps, and account state.
