To email a page from Chrome, use the browser’s sharing menu and choose an available email app. On a computer, open More > Cast, save, and share; on Android, tap More > Share; on iPhone or iPad, tap Share. If your computer does not offer an email app, copy the page address and paste it into a new message.
Email a page from Chrome on a computer
- Open the page you want to share in Chrome.
- Select More > Cast, save, and share.
- Choose a sharing method. If an email app appears, select it; Chrome will open a message draft with the page link. The available apps depend on your computer and installed software, so an email option is not guaranteed. See Google Chrome Help: Share pages in Chrome – Computer.
- Address the message, add any context for the recipient, and send it.
If no email app appears
Copy the page URL from Chrome’s address bar, open your email app or website, start a new message, and paste the URL into the message. This works even when Chrome’s sharing menu does not list an email app.

Email a page from Chrome on Android
- Open the page in Chrome.
- Tap More beside the address bar, then tap Share.
- Choose an email app. If it is not shown, tap More to view additional available apps.
- Address the message and send it. The recipient receives a link to open the page.

Email a page from Chrome on iPhone or iPad
- Open the page in Chrome.
- Tap Share beside the address bar. You can also touch and hold a link on the page and choose Share.
- Select an email app. Tap More if you need to find an app that is not initially listed.
- Address the draft and send it.

Choose the right sharing method

| Email the page to someone | Choose an available email app from the sharing menu; on a computer without one, copy and paste the URL. | A message contains the page link. |

Why an email app may be missing
Chrome shares pages through other apps, and the choices depend on your platform and the apps available on your device. Google’s instructions explain how to choose a sharing option but do not promise that every email provider will appear. On a computer, copying the URL into a message is the straightforward fallback; on mobile, check More in the sharing sheet for additional apps.
