TJ Maxx describes an account benefit as “Receive New Arrivals Alerts,” but the account and email-preference pages describe general retailer updates—not a product watchlist or an item-specific back-in-stock trigger. A new-arrivals email is therefore not the same as a guaranteed “notify me when this item is back in stock” alert.

Revisit the product page and check its inventory information. TJ Maxx’s FAQ says inventory levels are informational and may not be current in real time. It also says an item is not reserved when placed in a cart; another customer may buy it before checkout is complete. If it appears available, proceed through checkout promptly, while recognizing that availability is not guaranteed until the purchase is completed.

If you need a definite answer about a particular product, contact TJ Maxx through its customer-service page, which provides routes for online and in-store questions. You can ask whether a restock notification exists for that item. The contact information does not promise that customer service can create or enable one.

TJ Maxx has separately described a free ship-to-store test in select Philadelphia and Chicago stores, with an email when an order is ready for pickup. That is a status update for an order already placed, not a notification that a sold-out product is back in stock. Participating stores and conditions can change.
