To set it up, enable Multi Control in Samsung Settings > Connected devices on the Galaxy Book and in Settings > Connected devices on the phone. Samsung’s cited requirements specify compatible Galaxy Book models—not Windows PCs in general.
Check whether your devices are compatible
Samsung lists support for Galaxy phones and tablets running One UI 5.1.1 or later and Galaxy Book series computers from 2021 or later. The Galaxy Book must also have Samsung Settings 1.5 (Intel) or 3.3 (ARM). These are Samsung’s stated requirements; they do not establish support for every Windows computer. Prepare the phone and Galaxy Book
Before enabling the feature, make sure both devices meet Samsung’s connection requirements:

- Sign in to the same Samsung Account on both devices.
- Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Turn on Bluetooth on both devices.
- Have a keyboard and mouse connected to at least one device. Samsung does not require a particular make or model.
Samsung lists these prerequisites in its Multi Control setup guidance.
Turn on Multi Control on both devices
- On the Galaxy Book: Open Samsung Settings, select Connected devices, then switch on Multi Control.
- On the Galaxy phone: Open Settings, select Connected devices, then switch on Multi Control.
- Check your input device: Confirm that a keyboard and mouse are connected to at least one of the two devices.
Samsung’s connected-experience instructions give these menu paths. If the labels differ on your device, availability may depend on its model and software version.

If Multi Control is missing or the devices do not appear
- Check that the phone meets the One UI requirement and that the computer is a qualifying Galaxy Book with the required Samsung Settings version.
- Confirm that both devices use the same Samsung Account and Wi-Fi network, and that Bluetooth is on.
- Verify that Multi Control is enabled on both devices and that a keyboard and mouse are connected to at least one.
- Account for model, software, region, and app differences; Samsung does not guarantee availability across every configuration. Its phone and tablet support guidance notes that availability can vary.
Does Multi Control work with any Windows PC?
No—not according to the cited Samsung requirements. They specify Galaxy Book computers meeting the model and Samsung Settings requirements, rather than all PCs running Windows. If your computer is not a supported Galaxy Book, Samsung describes Phone Link with a Galaxy phone and Windows 10 or 11 PC as a separate connection option. Phone Link supports phone-to-PC functions such as screen mirroring; it is not Multi Control or a guaranteed substitute for shared keyboard-and-mouse control.
