Before you start: check your watch model
Find the watch’s module number and check its manual for CASIO WATCHES compatibility and the mobile-link features it supports. Casio cautions that functions vary by model, so a successful connection does not mean every watch can receive phone notifications or correct time automatically. How to pair your watch with CASIO WATCHES
- Install and open CASIO WATCHES. Register for or sign in with a CASIO ID as the app requests, and accept the required terms. Casio’s connection guide then leads into watch registration.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone. Keep the phone near the watch. Casio specifies a distance within one meter for module 5737; other models may have different instructions.
- Add the watch in the app. Use its add or register-watch flow, then follow the prompts on both the phone and watch. Button sequences differ by module; use your watch’s manual rather than assuming another model’s sequence applies.
- Wait for pairing to finish. On documented compatible models, the phone and watch time settings synchronize when the connection is established. If registration does not complete, reopen the app and retry using the module-specific steps.
Casio’s module 5737 instructions and module 5744 instructions describe their respective pairing flows and time-setting behavior.

How time synchronization works
Pairing can set the watch to the phone’s time, but ongoing correction depends on the model and connection conditions. For module 5737, Casio says automatic correction can take place during daily use when the watch is left in Timekeeping Mode. For module 5744, the current time is corrected while a Bluetooth Mobile Link connection exists, and the app must be running. Casio Europe also recommends maintaining the app/watch Bluetooth connection for current-time adjustment; consult the pairing and connection FAQ and your own module manual for the applicable behavior.

How to enable phone notifications
Notifications are available only on compatible watch models, and pairing alone may not be sufficient. Enable the relevant notification feature in CASIO WATCHES if the watch offers one, then allow the app and phone operating system to share notifications with the watch. The menu names and available controls vary by phone, operating system, app version, and watch module.
Documented iPhone steps for module 3515
For the documented module 3515 procedure, Casio requires notifications for CASIO WATCHES to be enabled on the iPhone and the paired watch’s Share System Notifications setting to be on in the iPhone’s Bluetooth settings. The module 3515 notification instructions list incoming calls, mail, SNS, schedule, and other alerts. Do not assume these categories or controls apply to a different model or phone.

Why won’t my Casio watch sync the time?
- Check feature support. Confirm the exact module number and whether its manual describes phone time correction.
- Check the connection. Make sure phone Bluetooth is on and the app shows the watch as connected. Follow the module’s pairing steps if the connection or registration did not complete.
- Check the model’s conditions. Automatic correction may require a particular watch mode, an active Bluetooth connection, or the app to be running. For example, the documented conditions differ between modules 5737 and 5744.
Why aren’t notifications showing on my Casio watch?
- Verify that the watch supports phone notifications and that its notification feature is enabled in the app, if provided.
- Check the phone’s notification permission for CASIO WATCHES and any operating-system setting that allows notifications to be shared with Bluetooth devices.
- Confirm that Bluetooth is on and the watch is connected in the app. Casio’s pairing and connection FAQ recommends checking Bluetooth, the app connection, notification settings, and special notification permissions.
- On the documented iPhone/module 3515 setup, check Share System Notifications for the paired watch in Bluetooth settings.
Does CASIO WATCHES need location permission?
Not as a universal requirement for time sync or notifications. The module 5737 instructions ask users to allow background location use for the app’s location-related operation. Follow the permission prompt and manual for your particular model and feature rather than granting location access on the assumption that every watch function needs it. Casio’s app connection support page provides additional connection guidance.
