Banana Gun documents both wallet tracking and copy-trade controls, but copying does not validate a trader, guarantee the same entry price, or make a trade profitable. Before enabling it, check the target’s recent activity, choose a chain supported for copy trading in the live interface, and set strict per-buy and total-spend limits.
Wallet tracking and copy trading are different actions
A wallet tracker observes activity associated with a public address. Banana Gun’s explainer describes adding and labeling a wallet, reviewing its activity, and opening a trade setup from that activity. Watching alone does not submit trades.

Copy trading adds automated transactions: when the selected wallet makes a qualifying trade, the bot can respond using funds and settings you control. Past activity is evidence to inspect, not a promise about future results. Banana Gun’s manual warns: “Some target wallets may become malicious and try to drain your funds by aping into pump and dumps or honeypots. Use a wallet scanner to review recent trades by the target wallet and check whether they’re using copy traders as exit liquidity.” This is the product manual’s warning, not an independent assessment.

Review recent trades and look beyond headline profit figures. The vendor’s 2026 Robinhood Chain guide suggests examining trade count, consistency of position sizing, drawdown behavior where available, and activity on other chains. It presents these as evaluation suggestions, not a validated scoring system. A new chain may offer little chain-specific history to judge. Read the Robinhood Chain guide.
- Look for patterns that could make followers exit liquidity, including entries into suspicious or highly speculative tokens.
- Check whether the wallet’s trading behavior and position sizes make sense for your own risk limits.
- Do not treat a wallet’s past PnL, a scanner result, or a bot setting as proof that future trades are safe.
Set up copy trading in Banana Pro
Banana Gun documents copy-trading setup in Banana Pro. The available menu labels and features can differ by chain and change over time, so use the chosen chain’s live interface as the source of truth. The manual describes this general sequence:

- Open the copy-trading setup and select the funding wallet you intend to use.
- Enter the target wallet address and give it a label you will recognize.
- Set a maximum buy and an overall spend limit. These serve different purposes: the maximum caps an individual buy, while the total limit caps cumulative spending under the copy setup.
- Choose a sizing mode and review slippage, copy duration, and any MEV tip setting shown for that chain.
- Check the chain, token, funding wallet, and limits in the confirmation view, then confirm only if they match your intent.
The manual documents Simple, Advanced, and Advanced Presets modes. It also lists options such as Buy Only Once, Buy Exact, Buy %, and Buy Fixed, along with take-profit and stop-loss conditions. These are documented controls, not a guarantee that every option appears on every network.

Choose how much of the target’s trade to mirror
In the manual’s examples, percentage sizing uses a fraction of the target’s trade size, while fixed sizing spends the configured amount on each copied trade. Buy Exact and Buy Only Once are also named controls, but their availability and behavior should be checked in the live setup rather than assumed across chains. A larger copied size can change the practical result if liquidity is limited.

Understand the limits you set
A per-buy cap restricts the size of one copied purchase; an aggregate spend limit restricts how much the setup can spend overall. Neither is a profit guarantee or a substitute for checking whether you can afford the loss. If the interface offers an execution duration, slippage setting, MEV tip, take-profit, or stop-loss, verify the displayed terms and how they apply before enabling the setup. A stop loss does not eliminate execution, liquidity, or contract risks.

A follower generally reacts after the target’s transaction is observed, so the copied trade may execute later and at a different price. Banana Gun’s explainer identifies timing, slippage, liquidity, and the follower’s size relative to the target as factors that can change results. In a low-liquidity token, even a modest order may move the price or execute with substantial slippage. The explainer discusses these execution differences.

Do not infer a universal copy-trading fee from the general rates on Banana Gun’s homepage. The homepage states 0.5% for manual trades and 1% for snipes on successful transactions; those figures do not establish the rate for every copy-trade action. Check the fee details for the exact action and chain in the product before confirming. Banana Gun homepage.
Verify network support in the interface you will use
Banana Gun’s homepage lists ETH, SOL, BSC, BASE, ROBINHOOD, STABLE, HYPEREVM, and MEGAETH among supported networks. Its unified-bot announcement describes copy trading on Ethereum, Solana, Base, BNB Chain, and MegaETH. These lists are not identical, and support for a network does not establish that every feature is available there. Confirm that copy trading is offered for the selected chain and wallet in the live product before funding or enabling it.
The company’s August 17, 2026 announcement reported more than $16 billion in cumulative trading volume and more than 1.2 million registered users. The homepage, accessed October 7, 2026, instead displayed 26M+ lifetime trades, $16B+ lifetime volume, and 1.5M+ lifetime BANANA users. These are company-reported figures with different wording and counts; they are not independent evidence of copy-trading profitability. See the unified-bot announcement and the homepage.
When not to copy a wallet
- You cannot explain the wallet’s recent trading behavior or suspect it may be using followers as exit liquidity.
- The token’s liquidity, slippage, or likely order size makes the copied entry unacceptable to you.
- You have not confirmed copy support, applicable fees, and the relevant controls for the chain you intend to use.
- The maximum buy or total-spend limit would expose funds you cannot afford to lose.
- You are relying on historical returns, automation speed, or stop-loss settings as assurance of a safe or profitable outcome.
Banana Gun’s product pages describe features and usage figures, not independently verified evidence that copy trading is profitable. Treat each copied transaction as your own risk decision, and disable the setup if the target or the execution conditions stop meeting your criteria.
