Set the scheduled date and time, then choose a run length under Live Stream Duration—or select “I’ll stop my stream manually.” LiveReacting documents a duration control, not a separate end-clock field: the end time is determined by the scheduled start plus the duration, unless you stop the stream yourself.
Set the scheduled start and run length
- Open the project settings. In LiveReacting Studio, open the stream project and click the gear icon to enter Settings.
- Connect your YouTube channel if needed. Set or review the stream title and description in the settings.
- Choose how the stream will end. Under Live Stream Duration, select the planned duration, or choose “I’ll stop my stream manually.” The LiveReacting Help Center describes this as setting the duration of the stream. LiveReacting settings guide
- Set the start. In Scheduling, choose the intended date and time. LiveReacting says the schedule uses your device’s timezone, so check the device timezone or convert the time before saving if you are scheduling for another region.
- Choose whether to publish an advance announcement. Enable “Create live announcement” if you want the scheduled stream to appear on your channel in advance and have a link to share. YouTube says scheduled streams may appear in subscribers’ feeds as upcoming, where viewers can select Notify me. YouTube Help: Manage live stream settings
- Save and schedule. Click Save, then Schedule. LiveReacting’s separate scheduling guide also explains uploading a YouTube thumbnail; do not confuse that thumbnail with an image used only for an announcement. LiveReacting scheduling guide
Work out the end time
For a fixed-duration stream, the planned end is the scheduled start plus the selected duration. For example, if you schedule a start at 7:00 p.m. device time and choose a three-hour duration, the planned run ends at 10:00 p.m. in that same timezone. This is a calculation from the selected start and duration, not a separate end-time setting documented by LiveReacting. If you choose manual stopping, there is no scheduled end implied by that selection; stop the stream when you are ready.

If the YouTube event already exists
If you created the scheduled live event in YouTube already, use LiveReacting’s “Connect to existing stream” option rather than creating another scheduled event through LiveReacting. This connects the project to the existing YouTube stream. See the LiveReacting settings guide for the documented option.
Keep scheduling and encoder controls distinct
LiveReacting’s scheduled date/time and Live Stream Duration determine the planned launch and run length in its workflow. YouTube also documents encoder options called auto-start and auto-stop, which let a user start or stop streaming from the encoder. These are YouTube live settings; they should not be mistaken for a separate end-clock field in LiveReacting. YouTube Help

Limits and long-stream considerations
LiveReacting’s settings guide says YouTube videos can be scheduled up to two weeks ahead. Limits can change, so confirm the available date range in Studio when setting up your event. LiveReacting settings guide
A separate LiveReacting help page says YouTube has no duration limit but that streams longer than 12 hours will not be archived. That page was updated two years before October 2026; treat the archive statement as older vendor guidance and check current YouTube guidance if retaining an archive matters. Common scheduling problems
- The event is at the wrong local time: check the timezone configured on the device used for scheduling, then adjust the selected time or device timezone before saving.
- You need a specific end clock time: calculate the duration from your scheduled start to that end time and select that duration. If the needed duration is unavailable or you want to decide later, choose manual stopping instead.
- Viewers cannot find the event ahead of time: confirm that “Create live announcement” was enabled if you wanted an advance listing, and share the scheduled event link.
- You see or risk creating a duplicate event: if the event already exists in YouTube, connect to that existing stream instead of scheduling a new one.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is a YouTube channel that stays live continuously, LiveReacting’s scheduling controls are for a planned start and duration. StreamNeo is a separate option for looping uploaded videos as a 24/7 YouTube stream: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It then runs from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home; each slot streams your upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. Learn more at StreamNeo, or start the free day.
