To send Wachete change alerts to Slack, create a Slack webhook URL, then add it to the relevant Wachete monitor under Advanced settings → Notification → Webhook. Set the monitor’s alert condition and save. Wachete documents this as a per-monitor setup, so configure each monitor that should post to Slack.
What you need before you start
- A Wachete account with the monitor you want to connect.
- A Slack workspace and the webhook URL issued for the intended workspace and channel.
Treat the webhook URL as a secret: anyone with access to it may be able to send messages to its destination. Do not share a live URL in screenshots, public documents, or code examples.

Connect a Wachete monitor to Slack
- Create or obtain the Slack webhook URL. Add Wachete to your Slack workspace and copy the webhook URL supplied for the application and channel. Wachete shows an illustrative URL shape,
https://hooks.slack.com/services/EXAMPLE; use the actual URL Slack provides, not that placeholder. See Wachete’s FAQ. - Open the monitor in Wachete. Create a monitor if needed, or edit the existing one for the web page or content you want to track.
- Enter the webhook destination. In that monitor’s settings, open Advanced, select the Notification tab, and paste the Slack URL into the Webhook field.
- Choose what should trigger an alert. Select the condition that fits the information you want sent: a page change, text appearing or disappearing, or a numeric value reaching a threshold or beginning to grow.
- Save and verify. Check the selected Slack channel after the next matching alert. If you can safely create a test monitor or trigger a harmless change, use that to confirm the destination; do not assume delivery until you have checked.
Choose an alert condition that matches the page
- Page changes: use this when any monitored change should generate a notification.
- Text appears or disappears: use this when a particular phrase or status matters more than unrelated page changes.
- Numeric threshold or growth: use this when monitoring a value and alerting only when it reaches a level or starts increasing.
The exact conditions available can depend on how the monitor is configured. Wachete’s FAQ describes monitoring a full page, part of a page, password-protected pages, and media files, with frequency and notification choices during setup.

Wachete’s documented instructions put the webhook in an individual monitor’s advanced notification settings. Do not assume that connecting one monitor applies Slack delivery to every existing or future monitor. Repeat the setup for each monitor whose alerts belong in Slack unless the current Wachete interface explicitly offers a workspace-wide setting.

When to use the API or Zapier instead
For a straightforward alert in a Slack channel, the monitor’s webhook field is the direct route. Wachete also documents a REST API, generic webhooks, and Zapier integrations. Those options may suit workflows that need custom routing or actions in other services; API use requires credentials from the Wachete account profile. See Wachete’s features and Wachete’s REST API documentation.

- No Slack message arrives: confirm the webhook URL is the real one for the intended workspace and channel, that it was pasted into the monitor’s Advanced → Notification → Webhook field, and that the monitor is saved.
- The monitor runs but does not notify: check whether the selected alert condition actually matches the page change. A text or threshold condition will not necessarily fire for an unrelated change.
- Only some monitors post to Slack: configure the webhook on each relevant monitor; the documented setup is per monitor.
- You are unsure whether delivery works: inspect the chosen Slack channel after a matching event or use a safe test monitor/change if available. The available instructions do not establish a guaranteed delivery time or provide a universal test button.
- The webhook URL may have been exposed: treat it as compromised and use Slack’s available webhook management controls to revoke or replace it, then update the Wachete monitor with the replacement URL.
Or skip the browser setup
If the task is capturing a webpage rather than routing Wachete’s change alerts, ScreenshotNeo provides a screenshot API and MCP server for developers. A single GET request can return a screenshot or PDF, but it is not a replacement for Wachete’s monitoring and Slack-alert workflow.

ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie and consent banners before capture and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; those steps can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and responses identify the page verdict and billing status in headers. Its MCP server offers take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf for AI agents. The Free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. Sign up free for 1,000 screenshots a month, with no card required.
