To see which Lists include your account, open Lists in X, select the More menu, and choose Lists you’re on. The same option is available in the X app and on X.com, although the menu location can vary slightly by layout.
Find Lists you’re on in the X app
X calls the feature X Lists, but the steps are the same whether you search for “Twitter Lists” or “X Lists.”
- Open X and tap your profile icon or the navigation menu.
- Tap Lists.
- Tap the More icon, usually shown as three dots.
- Select Lists you’re on.
Alternative profile shortcut
X also documents a profile-based route: open your profile, tap the three-dot menu, and select Lists you’re on. If you do not see that shortcut, use the main Lists area instead.
Find Lists you’re on at X.com
- Sign in to X.com.
- Select Lists from the navigation menu.
- Select the More icon beside the button for creating a new List.
- Choose Lists you’re on.
If the label is not in the same place, open the Lists section and check its More menu. X can move controls as its app and website layouts change.

What the result means
X Lists are curated groups of accounts with a dedicated timeline. The Lists you’re on view shows Lists that include your account and are visible to you.
Private Lists
You cannot see private Lists owned by other accounts. Only the owner can view a private List, so a List may include you without appearing in your results if its owner has made it private.
Rank #2
Protected posts
Being included in a List does not bypass privacy settings. Posts from a protected account remain visible only to people that account has approved to follow it.
Can you remove yourself from someone else’s List?
X says that removing yourself from another account’s List requires blocking the List creator. Blocking affects your relationship with that account beyond the List itself, so consider the consequences before proceeding. X does not document a separate “leave List” control for this situation.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Use your X data archive as a fallback
If you need a broader record of List activity, request your downloadable X account archive. On the web, go to Settings and privacy → Your account → Download an archive of your data. Confirm your password, then wait for X to notify you when the archive is ready.
The archive can contain information about Lists you created, follow, or are a member of. It is a data export rather than the quickest way to check the Lists screen, and preparation may take time.
Quick Recap
When “Lists you’re on” is missing
- Open the main navigation rather than relying on a profile shortcut.
- Enter Lists first, then check the More menu.
- Confirm that you are signed in to the intended X account.
- Update the mobile app if its navigation is substantially different.
- Remember that private Lists owned by other people will not be shown.
