To capture the page beneath it, use the consent manager’s own controls to make your intended choice, then test scrolling again. If the page still will not scroll, identify whether the whole document or just a panel is affected and choose a capture method for that layout. There is no established universal fix for every consent manager’s scroll lock.
First decide whether to capture the consent banner
If you are documenting the page as it appeared, including the consent overlay may be the right result. Leave it visible and capture it. If you need the content underneath, use the manager’s visible controls to make your intended consent choice; do not silently change consent state as a general-purpose screenshot workaround.
Then try ordinary scrolling. If it works, use a full-page screenshot method. If it does not, work out whether scrolling is locked across the document or whether the content you need is inside a particular panel. The right capture method depends on that distinction, and no single remedy is established for all consent managers.

Firefox provides a built-in full-page screenshot button and a Web Console command. Mozilla documents both, including the command’s ability to capture content beyond the current window bounds: Firefox Web Console command-line helpers.
- Enable the screenshot button: open Developer Tools, open Developer Tools Settings, and under “Available Toolbox Buttons” enable “Take a screenshot of the entire page.”
- Capture: use the screenshot button in the Developer Tools toolbar. Firefox saves the image to Downloads.
- Or use the console: open the Web Console, enter
:screenshot --fullpage, and run the command.
A full-page capture can include content beyond the viewport, but Firefox’s documentation does not describe this as a way to unlock scrolling or bypass a consent manager. The overlay or page implementation may still affect what appears.

Capture one section or element instead
If the page is difficult to capture as a whole, or a single panel is the subject, Firefox can screenshot a selected element and its descendants. In the Inspector, right-click the element and choose “Screenshot Node.” Alternatively, use the Web Console command :screenshot --selector with a selector for the element you want. See Mozilla’s command documentation for the available options.
This is an element capture, not a substitute for a full-document screenshot. It is useful when the relevant content is localized to one section or panel.

When the page uses nested scrolling
Some pages scroll inside a panel rather than through the document itself. GoFullPage’s Chrome Web Store listing describes a capture flow that scrolls through page sections and supports inner scrollable elements and embedded iframes. It may help with complex layouts, but the listing does not establish that it can override a particular consent manager’s scroll lock. Treat it as a capture aid, not a guaranteed bypass. The listing identifies version 8.9 and an update date of September 25, 2026: GoFullPage in the Chrome Web Store.
Do not confuse cookie controls with screenshot controls
Chrome DevTools’ Privacy and security panel can inspect third-party cookies and temporarily limit them while DevTools is open. Chrome documents this as a cookie-control feature, not as a full-page screenshot tool or a way to restore scrolling: Chrome DevTools: Security.

Troubleshoot a capture that still fails
- Scrolling stays blocked after you use the banner: there is no confirmed universal fix. Check whether the document or a specific panel is the scrollable region, and use a selected-element capture if that is sufficient.
- The full-page image still shows the overlay: the screenshot feature captures what the page renders; it is not documented as a consent-lock bypass. Make your intended choice through the visible consent controls before trying again if you need the underlying page.
- The relevant content is inside a panel: try Firefox’s element screenshot, or consider an extension that describes support for inner scrollable elements. Neither is guaranteed to defeat the page’s consent behavior.
- You are changing Chrome cookie settings to fix scrolling: those controls address third-party-cookie inspection or limiting, not page capture or scroll unlocking.
