To schedule a YouTube live stream in Be.Live, open its studio, choose Set destination, turn on Schedule Stream, select a date and time, connect your YouTube channel, set privacy, add the stream details, and save. This creates a scheduled announcement—not an automatic broadcast. You must return to Be.Live and start the show yourself at the scheduled time.
Before you schedule
- Verify your YouTube channel. Be.Live says verification can take up to 24 hours, so do this ahead of your planned stream. See Be.Live’s scheduling instructions.
- Use a supported browser. Be.Live specifies the latest version of Chrome or Safari.
- Prepare your setup. Be.Live lists a desktop or laptop, webcam, Google account, verified YouTube channel, and stable internet connection. It recommends wired Ethernet and headphones to help reduce lag, echo, and feedback; you do not necessarily need to buy new equipment if your existing setup is suitable. Its setup guidance is at Be.Live’s YouTube setup page.
Schedule the stream in Be.Live
- Sign in to Be.Live using the latest Chrome or Safari, then open the studio.
- Select Set destination and switch on Schedule Stream.
- Set the date and time, then choose YouTube as the destination.
- Select the Google Account and YouTube channel you want to connect. Review and authorize the permissions requested by Be.Live. Be.Live says its integration uses YouTube’s API and will not post without permission.
- Choose the audience setting: Public, Private, or Unlisted.
- Add a cover image, title, and description. You can upload an image or use Be.Live’s graphic tool. For an uploaded cover, Be.Live specifies JPG or PNG, a maximum file size of 3 MB, and a 16:9 ratio; examples include 1920×1080 and 1280×720. Its instructions also say to use a filename without symbols or special characters.
- Save the scheduled stream. Be.Live says you can schedule multiple broadcasts.
Choose the right privacy setting

These descriptions follow Be.Live’s privacy guidance. Choose Public for a generally discoverable event, Private for selected viewers, or Unlisted when you want to share access by link without ordinary public discovery.
Share the announcement link
In the Be.Live studio, open the profile menu and select My Streams. Find the scheduled broadcast there and copy its link to share with viewers in advance.
Start the broadcast at showtime
- Return to the Be.Live studio and select the scheduled stream.
- Add a camera source to the staging section.
- Switch on Show in Stream.
- Press Start. Be.Live describes a three-second countdown before the broadcast begins.
You can start earlier than the scheduled time. Be.Live says you must start within 10 minutes after the scheduled time; if you miss that window, check the current studio for the available options rather than assuming the announcement will begin broadcasting automatically. Edit or troubleshoot a scheduled stream
The stream is not visible in Be.Live
Be.Live says a YouTube show scheduled directly on YouTube cannot be linked as a Be.Live scheduled show. Create the scheduled broadcast in the Be.Live studio using Set destination and Schedule Stream.
You cannot change the destination
Be.Live says the destination cannot be changed for an existing scheduled YouTube broadcast. Create a new scheduled broadcast with the intended destination if it is wrong.

You need to change the time or listing details
Be.Live says you can edit the date and time, privacy, cover image, title, and description for an existing scheduled broadcast. Reopen the scheduled show in the studio and update the relevant details.
The broadcast did not start at the scheduled time
Scheduling only creates the announcement. Open the show in Be.Live, stage the camera source, enable Show in Stream, and press Start within Be.Live’s stated 10-minute window after the scheduled time.

You cannot connect your YouTube channel
Check that you selected the intended Google Account and channel, completed Be.Live’s requested authorization, and verified the YouTube channel in advance. Be.Live says verification can take up to 24 hours; the exact permission and account screens may change.
