Convert a screenshot image to PDF with your computer
If you have obtained the screenshot as an image file, the broadly available workaround is to open it and print it to a PDF destination. Exact labels and controls depend on your operating system and image app. The University of Utah Center for Teaching and Learning describes “Print → Save as PDF / Export as PDF” as the most reliable cross-platform method for capturing an entire document without manual scrolling; this is general guidance, not PageCrawl-specific instructions (University of Utah).

- Open the image. Use your operating system’s image viewer or another app that can print the file.
- Choose Print. In the app’s print flow, select the system’s PDF destination, commonly labelled “Save as PDF” or “Export as PDF.”
- Set the page layout. Choose paper size, orientation, scaling, and margins if the print dialog offers them. A long screenshot may be scaled down to fit one page or split across pages, depending on the app and settings.
- Save and check the result. Pick a destination and filename, then open the PDF to confirm that the screenshot is legible and not clipped.
The result generally preserves the screenshot as an image inside a PDF container. Text in the screenshot is not necessarily selectable or searchable. If selectable text matters, you need a text-based PDF or OCR processing rather than simply printing the image.

Archive future PageCrawl screenshots in Dropbox
For an ongoing record rather than a one-time PDF, PageCrawl documents an integration that automatically saves screenshots to Dropbox when monitored pages change. That can help retain image snapshots over time, but it does not by itself document creating PDFs.
