Check the preview from the first page to the last before saving: one PDF file can contain many standard pages, and print layout may differ from what you see on screen.
Save the whole webpage as one PDF file
- Open the exact webpage. Wait for the article to load. If it adds sections or images as you scroll, scroll through the page first; this may help trigger loading, but does not guarantee every image, frame, or script-driven section will be included.
- Open Print. On desktop, press Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+P on Mac. You can also use the browser’s menu and choose Print.
- Choose the PDF destination. Select Save as PDF or Save to PDF, depending on the browser and device. No physical printer is needed for this workflow.
- Inspect the preview. Check the beginning, a middle page, and especially the final page. Confirm the last section is present and that content is not cut off at page breaks.
- Adjust settings if needed, then save. Choose a suitable page range, paper size, orientation, scale, or margins where available. Give the file a recognizable name and save it.
- Open the saved PDF and verify it. Check the first, middle, and final pages for missing content and correctly rendered Hindi characters.
Choose the steps for your device and browser
Chrome on a computer
Open File > Print, or press Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+P on Mac. Choose Save as PDF in the print destination, review the settings and preview, then save.

Firefox on a computer
Open the print preview and choose Save to PDF under Destination. Firefox offers controls for orientation, pages, paper size, scale, margins, headers and footers, and backgrounds. Simplified format may also be available. Page output can differ from the on-screen view, so check the preview and saved file. See Mozilla’s Firefox printing guide.

Press Ctrl+P on Windows or Command+P on Mac, or choose Print from the menu. Edge’s print dialog includes page selection, paper size, margins, scale, and backgrounds. Its printing guidance also describes Immersive Reader as a clutter-free option where available; availability depends on the website.

Chrome on Android
- Open the webpage and tap More > Share > Print.
- Adjust the available print settings and choose Save as PDF.
- Choose a location on the device and save the file.
Google’s Hindi-language Android instructions label the action “PDF में सेव करें” (“Save as PDF”). Google notes that translated help can contain translation errors.
Firefox on Android
Tap the three-dot menu, tap Share, then Save as PDF, and tap Download. Mozilla says the file is saved to Downloads. The Firefox Android instructions were last updated May 3, 2023, so labels may have changed.

Safari on iPhone
Open the webpage, use the Page Menu and Share—or the Share button, depending on the tab layout—then choose Markup. Tap Done, choose Save File To, name the PDF, and save it. Follow Apple’s Safari instructions if the controls differ on your iPhone.

Browser printing lays content out for pages; it does not generally promise a single continuous, extra-tall sheet. “One PDF” means one saved document, which may have multiple pages. The browser and website determine how content flows onto those pages.

- Check the final page. A plausible page count is not proof that the whole article printed. Look for the article’s actual final section.
- Fix cutoffs in the preview. Try a smaller scale, narrower margins, another orientation, or a different paper size. Controls vary by browser.
- Use simplified or reader-style output selectively. Firefox’s Simplified format and Edge’s Immersive Reader option may remove clutter, but use them only if the preview still contains the complete article.
- Inspect images and embedded content. Scrolling may prompt lazy-loaded content to appear, but it cannot guarantee that every image, embedded frame, or script-controlled section will print.
Check Devanagari text and searchability
Inspect several pages for blank boxes, missing vowel marks, broken conjuncts, or words that appear incomplete. If you need to search or copy Hindi text, try selecting a few words in the PDF and using the PDF viewer’s search function. A page that looks correct can still contain image-only text, which may not be searchable.
If the text is damaged or missing, compare the result from another updated browser and inspect its preview before relying on the file. A Chrome Help Community post from June 2022 described a font-embedding problem on some devices with Chrome versions 102.0.5005.98–102.0.5005.125; it is a historical user report, not evidence that current Chrome generally mishandles Hindi PDFs. The post is available at Google Chrome Help Community. The browser guidance cited here does not establish a need for a paid font pack or PDF product.

Troubleshoot common problems
