If the statement is available only as a webpage, use Chrome’s print dialog and choose a PDF destination. Bank menus differ, and a browser-printed page is not necessarily accepted wherever a bank-issued statement is required.
Choose the bank’s download or browser print route
A bank-provided statement and a PDF printed from a webpage are created by different routes. Prefer the bank’s download or export option when available, then check that the recipient accepts the document type if you are submitting it for a formal purpose.

- Use the bank’s option when it provides the requested account, date range and PDF format.
- Use browser print if you can view the statement as a webpage but cannot find a suitable bank download. The resulting PDF reflects what prints from that page; it is not automatically equivalent to a bank-generated statement.
Download a statement from the bank portal
- Sign in through your bank’s genuine net-banking route. Do not share your login credentials with anyone.
- Open the account or statement section. Depending on the bank, labels may include “Account Statement,” “Get Statement” or “e-Statements.”
- Select the account and the date range you need.
- Choose PDF or the bank’s own “Save as PDF” option, if offered, and save the file. Reopen it to confirm the account, dates and transactions are present.
Examples of bank-specific menu paths
These are examples from individual banks, not a shared menu system for Indian net banking. Labels and availability can change, so follow the instructions shown in your own logged-in portal.

Print a statement webpage to PDF in Chrome
On Windows, Linux or Mac
- Open the statement webpage and wait for the account details and transaction rows to finish loading.
- Open Chrome’s print dialog: press Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+P on Mac. You can also open the browser menu and choose Print.
- In the preview, choose a PDF destination such as “Save as PDF,” where available. Review the preview and its print settings.
- Save the file, then open it and confirm the correct account, date range and required transaction rows appear.

On Android Chrome
- Open the statement webpage and wait for the relevant details to load.
- Tap More > Share > Print.
- Choose “Save as PDF,” select a location, and save.
- Open the saved PDF and check its contents.

Check the PDF before you use it
- Verify that it shows the intended account and the full date range.
- Check that the relevant statement details and transaction rows are visible, rather than cut off or missing.
- If the PDF is incomplete, return to the portal and look for the bank’s download or export route, or check that bank’s help for its own print controls.
- If an organization requested the statement, follow its specified document requirements. The print workflow alone cannot establish whether a browser-generated PDF will be accepted.
Troubleshooting
No PDF option appears in the statement page
Look for a separate download, export or e-Statement area in the bank portal before printing the webpage. Banks may provide those controls separately from the view of the statement.

The print preview is blank or missing information
Confirm the account and date range, wait for the page to load, and try opening the statement again. The banks’ published instructions establish account and range selection, but they do not establish one browser fix for every bank’s page. If printing remains incomplete, use the bank’s download/export route or its support guidance.
The downloaded PDF asks for a password
Follow the instructions supplied by that bank for that particular file. Do not assume password conventions are universal. HDFC, for example, says its downloaded statements are password protected and gives a bank-specific rule in its statement guidance.

The receiving organization asks for an official statement
Ask the receiving organization which format it accepts and use the bank-issued download if required. Acceptance rules for visa, loan, tax and other submissions are set by the recipient, not by Chrome’s print dialog.
