The service’s cloud infrastructure carries the ongoing stream; you still need internet access to upload videos, configure the service and check your channel. This is a way to broadcast prerecorded material, not to send a real-time camera feed from a location with no upstream connection.
What “without using your own internet” means
A cloud-hosted streaming service takes over the continuous delivery job that would otherwise depend on a computer and connection at home. Your files are uploaded to the service, which sends the stream to YouTube. Its cloud servers still require internet connectivity; the difference is that your home connection is not carrying the 24/7 broadcast.
This approach is suited to prerecorded videos arranged for continuous playback. YouTube’s official encoder directory identifies Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded YouTube videos: YouTube’s encoder directory. That listing establishes relevance, not current prices, service limits, uptime, regional availability or partner terms.
If you need a genuine live camera feed, the camera’s video must reach the cloud service somehow. The cited YouTube information does not establish a way to broadcast a camera at an offline location without an upstream connection.

What you need before starting
- A YouTube channel that is verified and has not had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. YouTube says initial live-streaming enablement can take up to 24 hours; check YouTube’s live-streaming access requirements.
- A cloud service that supports prerecorded playback and the schedule you need. Check its current supported file formats, playlist and looping behavior, restart handling, monitoring, and service availability where you live.
- The video files you plan to stream, plus a plan for visibility, stream duration, recovery and any archive you need.
- Your YouTube Live server URL and stream key. Treat the key like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a stream to your channel.

Confirm live access
Sign in to YouTube and check that the channel meets the verification and restriction requirements. If live streaming is not enabled yet, allow for the possible enablement delay before scheduling a launch.

Choose and configure a cloud service
Select a service that explicitly supports continuous playback of prerecorded video to YouTube. Upload your files and set up the intended playlist or loop. Before relying on it, confirm the service’s accepted formats and quality, whether it can restart after an interruption, and how it handles long sessions. YouTube’s encoder directory lists Gyre for this general use case, but does not establish those service-specific details.

Copy the YouTube server URL and stream key
In YouTube Studio, open Create > Go live and use Live Control Room’s stream settings to find the server URL and stream key. Enter them in the cloud service’s YouTube destination settings. YouTube describes the stream key as the connection between your encoder and your live stream; follow YouTube’s stream-key guidance. Do not publish or share the key. If it is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room and update the cloud service with the replacement.

Set visibility and start/stop behavior
Choose public, private or unlisted visibility to suit your audience. Review YouTube’s auto-start and auto-stop settings and align them with the service’s schedule, so YouTube behaves as intended when the cloud service begins or ends delivery. Preview before the continuous run
Start the feed from the cloud service and check the preview in Live Control Room before going live. Verify that video and audio are present and that the correct stream is selected. YouTube recommends previewing the feed and monitoring its audio and video quality; see its live-streaming tips.

Monitor and plan for interruptions
The cloud service’s connection—not your home internet—is the one delivering the continuous broadcast. YouTube recommends leaving 20% bandwidth room for a live stream. That headroom applies to the connection carrying the stream, which in this setup is the cloud service’s delivery connection. Ask what alerts and recovery behavior the service provides, and check the channel periodically from any internet-connected device.

Decide how you will handle archives
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its guidance does not establish that one uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast will produce a complete automatic archive. If you need a VOD, verify YouTube’s current behavior and the service’s restart or segmentation workflow before going live; do not assume a day-long stream will be saved as one complete video. Copyright and channel-policy checks
A stream being prerecorded does not remove the need to have the rights to its content or follow YouTube’s rules. Before looping a video, confirm you have permission to use its footage, music and other included material, and review YouTube’s policies for the channel and content. A cloud service can deliver a file, but it cannot grant rights to it or guarantee that YouTube will allow it to remain live.

Common problems and what to check
- YouTube will not let the channel go live: check verification, live-stream access and any restrictions in the previous 90 days. If access was just enabled, the initial activation may take up to 24 hours.
- The stream does not appear in Live Control Room: confirm that the cloud service has the correct server URL and current stream key, and that the service is sending to the intended channel. Reset an exposed key and replace it in the service.
- The preview is blank or has no sound: check the selected file and playlist, then verify video and audio in YouTube’s preview before starting the public broadcast.
- The broadcast stops unexpectedly: check the cloud provider’s service status and restart or recovery settings. YouTube warns that interruptions in the delivery connection can break a stream; in this configuration, that connection belongs to the cloud service.
- You cannot find a complete recording afterward: review the service’s segmentation or restart behavior and YouTube’s archive handling. Automatic archiving guidance is for streams under 12 hours, not a guarantee for an uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast.
