If Monet is taking over the Home button, turn off Monet’s optional Accessibility service, then press Home and choose the stock launcher if Android offers a choice. If you previously disabled the stock launcher with ADB, re-enable its package instead. These are different problems, so use the matching recovery path below.
When Monet is opening instead of the stock home screen
Monet uses an optional Accessibility service for launcher behavior, including detecting Home-key presses and changes to the launcher window. Its developer says the app works without this service. Turning the service off is the least disruptive first step; it does not remove Monet or change the stock launcher package. See the Monet Launcher listing on Google Play.

- Open Accessibility settings. Use the TV’s Settings app and locate Accessibility. The exact menu path and label vary by manufacturer and software version.
- Turn off Monet’s Accessibility service. Find Monet in the list of enabled services and disable it. You can also use Monet’s own settings if you can open the app.
- Press Home. If Android shows a home-app chooser, select the stock launcher. If it does not, look in Settings for the device’s home-app or default-app setting; names and availability vary.
You do not need to uninstall Monet just to restore the stock home screen. If you decide to remove it, use the TV’s normal app-management flow. The developer also documents this ADB uninstall command: adb uninstall com.klevico.monet. Monet’s package name and installation details are in the developer’s Monet repository.

When the stock launcher was disabled with ADB
Re-enable the stock launcher package. Do not guess the package name: the examples below differ between Android TV and Google TV, and the package on a particular device should be confirmed before running a command.

These package names and the adb shell pm enable <package> pattern are examples from a third-party device how-to, not a guarantee for every TV model. Confirm the stock launcher package for your device before issuing the command. If you cannot reach Settings or use an ADB shell, consult the manufacturer’s support guidance for your exact model and software version; there is no universal recovery path established for all devices.
Keep a recovery route before changing launchers
Do not disable the stock launcher and then uninstall Monet unless you already have a way to restore the home screen. The cited device how-to warns that a TV can be left without a home screen in that sequence. If Monet’s service is the problem, disable that service first; if the stock package is already disabled, re-enable the confirmed package rather than removing or changing unrelated system packages.

What Monet is, and what this fix does
Monet is a third-party launcher for Android TV and Google TV. The developer lists Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer as a requirement and documents installation from an APK or with ADB. Its repository describes features such as dynamic colors, wallpapers, widgets, app rows, profiles, autostart, and settings backup and restore. Those features are separate from restoring the stock launcher.
