Samsung’s documented method is to switch to Default or another theme; there is no separate undo command.
Restore the default theme
- Open Galaxy Themes. Depending on your device, you may also find it in Settings > Themes, or by touching and holding an empty area of the Home screen and tapping Themes.
- Tap Menu, usually shown as a three-horizontal-line icon.
- Tap My stuff. Some Samsung instructions call this area My content.
- Open the Themes tab and select Default.
- Tap Apply and confirm if the screen asks you to do so.
Samsung Australia’s instruction is to select “Default” in the Themes tab: Customising my device using Galaxy Themes. Samsung US also explains that an applied theme is changed by applying Default or another theme, rather than undoing it directly: Samsung support.

Reset wallpaper, icons, or Always On Display separately
A theme and its individual visual components may be managed separately. If a custom wallpaper, icon set, or Always On Display (AOD) remains after applying Default, open Galaxy Themes > Menu > My stuff and check the corresponding Wallpapers, Icons, or AODs tab.

- For default icons or AOD, choose Default in the relevant category.
These are separate controls, so applying the default theme should not be treated as a guarantee that every individually selected wallpaper, icon set, or AOD will also change on every model.

Applying Default is not the same as deleting a theme
Choose Default when you want to stop using the current theme. Deleting is a separate action for removing a downloaded item from your library and is not required to restore the standard appearance.
Samsung US describes deletion through Galaxy Themes > Menu > Purchased items: tap the trash or delete icon, select the themes, and confirm. Samsung warns that a deleted purchase cannot be recovered without downloading or purchasing it again. Samsung Singapore says purchased themes or icons can be downloaded again from Purchased items when the device is connected to a Samsung account; that recovery guidance is specific to its regional support page: Samsung Singapore support.

If the menu names or path do not match
Samsung notes that available themes and screen layouts can vary by model, carrier, installed software, app version, and region. If the labels differ, open Galaxy Themes and look for its menu and personal-content area, then find Default under Themes. The precise entry point is not universal.

The steps above cover Galaxy Themes. If you applied customizations using Theme Park, Good Lock, or a third-party theming app, Samsung’s Galaxy Themes instructions do not establish whether selecting Default will reverse those separate changes. Use the reset controls for the tool that made the customization.
