In AI Builder manual mode, resize an element by dragging its border or corner handles, change a section’s height with the handle on its bottom edge, and adjust the menu/header through its spacing controls. Then review the page in the mobile editor: desktop and mobile layouts can behave differently.
Resize an element
-
Select the element you want to change. Drag its border to adjust its size; for an image, use the corner handles.

If the element is a button or social media icon, select Edit, then open Style to check for additional size controls. These extra settings are available for some element types, not necessarily every element.

Change a section’s height
To make a section taller or shorter, locate the handle on its bottom border and drag it down or up. Section height is controlled separately from the element handles inside that section.
Section settings also include layout options such as snapping to guides or elements, row height and row gap. Use those to refine layout and spacing; the section’s bottom-edge handle is the direct control for its overall height.
Adjust the menu or header
The header is not resized like an ordinary element or section. Open the header layout settings and change the top and bottom spacing to adjust the space around the menu. Navigation text size is controlled in global style settings, and the logo has a separate width setting.

In mobile view, resize elements with their border handles. After changing the desktop layout, use Auto-fix layout for the corresponding mobile section if you want the builder to adjust its arrangement.
-
If you manually edit positioning in mobile view, automatic positioning is turned off for those edits. Review the placement rather than assuming desktop changes will translate exactly.
-
Verify the page in both editors after moving elements between sections. Such moves can affect both views and distort the layout. Deleting an element or section in either view removes it from both.
Choose image sizing by the layout
There is no single optimal pixel dimension for every image element or section background. The builder is responsive and allows manual resizing, so check how each image appears at the screen sizes that matter for your page instead of relying on one universal measurement.
