The correct steps depend on the exact brand and model, so check the model number printed on the unit or packaging and follow that product’s official manual or support page. A reset sequence documented for one device may not apply to another.
Identify your power bank before trying a reset
Look for the brand and model number on the power bank itself, its packaging, or its documentation. Search the manufacturer’s official support site for that exact model and the symptom you are seeing—such as not charging, not powering a connected device, an unusual indicator, or an unresponsive display. Do not try a procedure just because it is for the same brand: instructions can differ by model and problem.

When reading the instructions, check which ports or buttons to use, how long to hold or connect them, and what the LEDs or display should show. If your unit does not have the ports named in the procedure, do not improvise a substitute.

If the power bank will not recharge, a cable, charger, or outlet problem can look like a power-bank fault. Where the manufacturer’s troubleshooting instructions recommend it, test with a known-working compatible cable, charging adapter, and outlet. If possible, try another compatible device to help isolate whether the issue is with the power bank or the connected equipment.

Use the connector and charging requirements specified for your model. If these checks do not resolve the fault, follow that model’s official reset or troubleshooting guidance rather than cycling through unrelated procedures.

Anker Prime Power Bank (26,000mAh, 300W)
Anker’s guide for this named model says to connect its Micro input to a USB output using the included cable for around 15 seconds. Disconnect after the LEDs stop flashing. Follow the Anker guide only if your power bank is this product and its ports match the instructions.
Certain Anker PowerCore charging issues
For relevant PowerCore charging problems, Anker Support says to connect both ends of a cable to the battery’s input and output ports at the same time for 3–5 seconds, then charge and discharge the power bank to see whether the issue resolves. Its guidance also recommends trying another charger, cable, or outlet for failure-to-recharge symptoms. Xiaomi and REDMI models
A Xiaomi/REDMI FAQ does not establish a general reset procedure. For those brands, use the documentation for your specific model; do not apply an Anker procedure to a Xiaomi or REDMI power bank. Start at the Xiaomi global FAQ and locate the relevant product guidance.

When to stop troubleshooting
If the exact model’s recommended checks and reset steps do not resolve the problem, contact the manufacturer’s support channel. A reset may address certain operating faults, but it does not restore worn battery capacity or repair a defective unit. Avoid experimenting with undocumented port combinations or button sequences.
