Livepush says you can swap, reorder, or add videos to a playlist while its YouTube broadcast is live, without interrupting the stream. To prepare a replacement, open the relevant Pre-recorded Live stream in the Livepush dashboard, add the new video if needed, and attach it to the playlist. The public instructions do not document the exact control for replacing an existing item or when an edit takes effect if that item is currently playing, so check the dashboard’s current controls and verify the result on YouTube.
Prepare the replacement video

Open the relevant Pre-recorded Live stream in the Livepush dashboard. The playlist is managed from that stream’s dashboard.

If the replacement video is not already available, select Add Video. Livepush’s help article says you can upload a video or import one from Google Drive, Dropbox, or a downloadable web URL.

Select the video and choose Add to Playlist to attach it to the pre-recorded stream.

Replace an item while the stream is live
Livepush’s FAQ says an active playlist can be changed during a live broadcast: videos can be swapped, reordered, or added without interrupting the broadcast. Open the active playlist in the dashboard and inspect the controls available for the item you want to replace. The public help instructions explain adding a video, but do not specify the exact replacement or removal controls; do not assume a particular button name or sequence.
The available documentation also does not say whether replacing the item that is currently on air changes playback immediately or waits until a later transition. After making the edit, check the dashboard preview and the live YouTube output to confirm what viewers see.

Check looping and plan access separately
Looping is optional for playlist editing
Loop Video is a separate setting for continuous playback, not a documented requirement for changing playlist contents. Livepush’s January 25, 2025 guide says to open the Pre-recorded Live dashboard and turn on Loop Video to repeat the playlist; you can then go live or choose Schedule For Later. The guide says looping continues until you manually stop the stream.

Confirm your plan
Livepush’s product FAQ describes editing a playlist while live, while a separate playlist FAQ associates multi-video streaming and on-air schedule editing with plans that include the 24/7 schedule channel. Check your current account plan and terms to confirm access before relying on a specific feature. Livepush describes this as a cloud streaming workflow with YouTube as a destination.

If the edit does not appear

The replacement video is not in the playlist: add or import it, select it, then choose Add to Playlist.

You cannot find a replacement control: the public instructions reviewed do not give a precise replacement sequence. Check the active playlist’s current dashboard controls or ask Livepush support rather than guessing at an undocumented action.

The current YouTube video has not changed: the documented material does not establish when an edit to the item currently playing takes effect. Check the dashboard preview and live output, and confirm the expected cutover with Livepush support if timing matters.
