To remove Logitech Gaming Software (LGS), uninstall it through Windows’ program-removal interface: open the relevant Control Panel page, select Logitech Gaming Software, and follow the prompts. Logitech’s LGS-specific instructions cover Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8; they do not document a complete-removal procedure for Windows 10, Windows 11, or macOS.

If you are removing LGS to try G HUB early access, Logitech says you do not need to uninstall LGS when it is version 8.98 or later. That statement is specific to early access; check Logitech’s current compatibility guidance for your installed version and G HUB release before relying on it. Uninstall Logitech Gaming Software on a documented Windows version
Use the path for your Windows version, then select Logitech Gaming Software and follow the on-screen instructions. These are the steps in Logitech’s LGS uninstall instructions.

Windows XP
- Open Control Panel and choose Add or Remove Programs.
- Select Logitech Gaming Software and click Remove.
- Follow the prompts to complete the uninstall.
Windows Vista or Windows 7
- Open Control Panel and choose Uninstall a Program. In the classic menu, open Programs and Features.
- Select Logitech Gaming Software and click Uninstall.
- Follow the prompts to complete the uninstall.
Windows 8
- Open Control Panel and choose Uninstall a program. You can reach Control Panel through the desktop Settings/Charms route or from All Apps on the Start screen.
- Select Logitech Gaming Software and click Uninstall.
- Follow the prompts to complete the uninstall.
Restart if Windows or the uninstaller requires it
Logitech notes that you may need to restart the computer to finish uninstalling LGS. Restart if the uninstaller requests it or if removal is not finalized until after reboot. Logitech describes this as its standard uninstall procedure; it does not establish that every configuration file or driver has been removed.

What to do on Windows 10, Windows 11, or macOS
Logitech’s LGS-specific uninstall article lists only Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. It does not provide an authoritative complete-removal procedure for Windows 10, Windows 11, or macOS. On a newer Windows version, use the operating system’s installed-app removal interface if LGS appears there, but do not treat that as Logitech-documented instructions for deleting every LGS remnant.
Likewise, do not apply file paths or registry cleanup steps written for Logi Options or Options+ to LGS: those are different Logitech applications, and their removal instructions do not establish where LGS stores files. If the ordinary uninstall fails or you need confirmation that particular drivers or configuration files are gone, consult Logitech Support for guidance specific to your LGS version and operating system.
