In most CapCut template projects, the watermark is a branded ending clip. Open the project, go to the end of the timeline, delete that clip, check the other tracks for logos, and preview the entire video before exporting. If the mark is part of a template or stock element instead, remove or replace that element.
Find out where the watermark comes from
CapCut says a watermark commonly comes from a default ending clip or a built-in template element, rather than being added by the export process itself. Its official template-watermark help page describes these common sources.

- Branded ending clip: A separate clip at the end of the timeline. Delete it if you do not want the CapCut-branded outro.
- Another track or template element: A logo or branded element may be elsewhere in the timeline or embedded in a template element. Inspect the tracks and replace the element if needed.
- Stock asset: Some stock materials may require attribution. Check the asset and its terms rather than treating it as an ending-clip problem.
- Pro prompt or locked export control: This is a separate issue from deleting a visible watermark. Some assets or export controls may be Pro-gated, depending on the project, platform, and current app version.
Remove the ending clip on your device
The precise controls vary by platform, but the workflow is the same: open the project, find the final branded clip, delete it, inspect the rest of the timeline, then preview and export.

CapCut desktop
- Open the project and select the ending watermark or outro clip on the timeline.
- Delete it.
- Inspect the tracks for hidden overlays or other logos. Replace a template element if its branding is part of the element rather than a separate clip.
- Preview the full video, then export.
CapCut mobile (iOS and Android)
- Open the project and move to the end of the timeline.
- Tap the CapCut ending clip and delete it.
- Check the remaining timeline for other watermark elements.
- Preview the complete video, then export.
If the watermark is still visible
Look beyond the final clip
Inspect every track and the template or stock elements used in the project. A mark that appears during a scene may belong to an overlay or an element in the template, not the outro. Remove or replace the specific element responsible, then preview the whole video again.

Handle Pro prompts separately
If CapCut shows a Pro prompt or locks an export option, identify which asset or control triggered it. Some resources and export controls are Pro-gated, but a Pro subscription is not a universal requirement for removing a watermark. If the project uses a Pro-marked element, remove or replace it to avoid relying on that feature, or follow the current in-app prompt if you need to keep it. CapCut’s help on exporting without a watermark and Pro help describe these separate export and resource considerations.
Contact support if no source is visible
If you cannot find a watermark in the project but it appears in the exported video, CapCut’s export guidance advises contacting support. Its interface and restrictions can change, so check the current app and help guidance for your platform.
