To disconnect a third-party app from your Figma account, open Settings > Security > Connect apps and select Revoke access beside it. If the integration also uses a personal access token, revoke that separately under Settings > Security > Personal access tokens. These controls are different from an organization admin removing a plugin from an approved list or its creator unpublishing it.
Revoke a connected app from your Figma account
- In the Figma file browser, open the account menu in the top-left corner and select Settings.
- Select Security.
- Scroll to Connect apps and find the app you want to disconnect.
- Select Revoke access for that app. Figma recommends reviewing connected apps regularly. Figma’s account-security instructions describe this as removing the app’s connection.
This cuts off the documented connected-app authorization. It does not establish that information the app previously received is erased.
Revoke a personal access token separately
A personal access token is a separate way for an integration to reach Figma data through the API. If the integration has one, revoking the connected app alone is not a substitute for revoking the token.
- From the file browser account menu, open Settings, then Security.
- Scroll to Personal access tokens.
- Select the token you want to revoke and choose Revoke access.
Figma says the integration will no longer be able to access data through that API token. Figma also says an integration using a personal access token cannot be restricted to selected files. To use the integration again through the API, generate a new token and reconfigure it. See Figma’s personal access token guidance.

If you are an organization admin
Organization admins manage plugin approvals rather than an individual account’s connected-app or token authorizations. Open Admin > Resources > Plugins, select the plugin, and remove it from the approved list. Figma says that removal immediately prevents members from using the plugin in files. On Enterprise, admins can remove access organization-wide or choose Edit approvals to adjust access by workspace. Details are in Figma’s plugin and widget approval instructions.
If you are the plugin creator
Unpublishing or deleting a plugin changes the creator’s resource; it does not perform a user’s connected-app or token revocation.

Classic plugins
For a published classic plugin, Figma’s creator instructions describe unpublishing from the Community page with Manage resource > Unpublish, or in the desktop app under Plugins > Manage plugins. Unpublishing removes the Community listing and prevents users from using the plugin or viewing its listing, while the plugin remains in development on the creator’s account. An in-development plugin can be removed from the development list. Deleting a plugin is irreversible and removes its likes and installs. See Figma’s classic plugin publishing guidance.
Generative plugins
For a generative plugin, Figma describes a separate creator flow: find the plugin from the Tools tab and choose Manage publishing > Unpublish. Deletion is a separate, irreversible action. See Figma’s generative plugin publishing guidance.

Paid plugins
Paid resources cannot be unpublished, but they can be delisted. A delisted plugin is not visible in Community feeds or the creator’s profile, yet remains accessible to purchasers. For a plugin with a subscription, current subscribers retain access through the end of their billing cycle. See Figma’s paid-resource guidance.
