For the documented USDC route, bridge Arbitrum USDC through Hyperliquid’s current Deposit flow, keep Arbitrum ETH available for gas, and verify the asset, network, and destination before signing. A correct sequence reduces avoidable mistakes, but no bridge, wallet, or audit listing makes a transfer risk-free.
Use the documented USDC route
Hyperliquid’s onboarding instructions describe its native USDC deposit path between Hyperliquid and Arbitrum. You need USDC on Arbitrum and some ETH on Arbitrum to pay for the deposit transaction; Hyperliquid says trading itself does not require gas. Start the deposit from the official Hyperliquid trading interface, rather than relying on an address copied from an old post or message.

- Open the official Hyperliquid trading interface and select Deposit.
- Choose the USDC deposit flow and check that the network shown is Arbitrum and the asset is USDC.
- Confirm your wallet is connected to the intended account and has enough Arbitrum ETH for gas.
- Review the transaction details shown by the interface and your wallet, including the destination and amount. If the token, network, or destination does not match, stop and verify before signing.
- After submission, retain the transaction hash and check the deposit status and resulting balance in the interface.
Hyperliquid’s onboarding page also names Arbitrum Bridge, deBridge, Mayan, Across, Router Nitro, Jumper, Synapse, and Relay as ways to move funds to Arbitrum, and says users may transfer from a centralized exchange. That list is not a comparative endorsement. For any route, verify current support for your origin network and token, then compare the destination, displayed fees, and estimated completion time before proceeding.

A small test transfer can limit the amount exposed to an address or setup mistake, but only consider one if the route’s minimums and fees make it practical. It is general risk-management advice, not a requirement in Hyperliquid’s deposit instructions. A test does not establish that a later transfer will use the same route or settings, so recheck the details each time.

Check token and network together
A familiar token name is not enough: the network must also match the current deposit instructions. Hyperliquid’s support page on bridging to Hyperliquid gives examples of mistaken deposits, including USDC sent on Ethereum and ETH sent on Arbitrum, that fail. It says some mistaken transfers may be eligible for a Unit revert feature, but unsupported assets or chains may not currently be recoverable. Do not assume support can reverse a wrong-network transfer.
The same page describes an Ethereum deposit flow that accepts only ETH or ENA on Ethereum. Its stated minimums—0.007 ETH and 120 ENA—apply only to that Ethereum flow, and it warns that deposits below those amounts result in loss. They are not minimums for the Arbitrum USDC route.

Know whether you are sending internally or withdrawing
Hyperliquid’s Send action transfers funds to another account on the Hyperliquid blockchain; it is not the route for sending funds to another blockchain. To move funds off Hyperliquid, use Withdrawal. If funds seem missing, identify the action and its status in the Portfolio page’s Deposits & Withdrawals table, following Hyperliquid’s withdrawal troubleshooting steps.
If a withdrawal is pending
Check the estimate shown in the withdrawal modal and allow for possible network congestion. The API documentation lists a $1 fee and approximately five minutes for finalization “at the time of this writing”; these are volatile documentation values, not a guaranteed fee or completion time. Use the current modal and status as the operative information.

If a withdrawal is marked complete
Open the linked explorer entry and check the transaction and destination address. If the address is not the one you intended, or the explorer details do not match the withdrawal, do not assume the funds reached the right wallet; use the official support guidance for the next steps.

Before approving a transaction, inspect the wallet’s transaction details alongside the current deposit flow. Hyperliquid’s documentation establishes the asset and network checks, but it does not provide a complete wallet-specific signing checklist or independent transaction simulation. Treat an unexpected network, recipient, or transaction as a reason to pause rather than as a routine prompt.

Anyone who can access your wallet password or seed phrase can access its funds. Hyperliquid recommends keeping the seed phrase in a safe physical location. A hardware wallet is an optional way to manage keys, not a guarantee against wrong-chain deposits, misleading transaction details, or unsafe approvals; Hyperliquid’s cited material does not endorse or compare particular devices.

If the wallet may be compromised
Unauthorized transactions, missing funds, or an unknown multisig may indicate compromise. Hyperliquid’s wallet-compromise guidance says to stop using the address, treat it as unsafe, create a new wallet with a trusted wallet provider, and move remaining funds—including applicable HyperEVM assets—to the new address. Moving assets can itself carry risk, and these steps do not promise recovery.

What Hyperliquid’s bridge audit does—and does not—mean
Hyperliquid’s audit index says the bridge contract has been audited by Zellic and links to two reports. That establishes that audits are listed; it does not prove funds cannot be lost, guarantee the deployed code has no defects, show that every later change was covered, or establish that third-party routes are audited. Treat the listing as one piece of information, not a safety guarantee.
