To reach the orange-pipe island in CONTROL Resonant, fast-travel to The Spire in the Underpass, cross the floating pillars with Reach, then follow the passage through the pipe structure toward the Fault. Clear the Mold or fungal enemies in the chamber along the way. Walkthroughs differ on the precise entrance and final interaction, so use the visible passage and the in-game prompt at the Fault as your guide.
Before you leave The Spire
Walkthroughs report that you need Reach to cross the gap to the island. They place its unlock after completing The Subway Fault; Remedy’s official game page does not document this progression requirement. If you cannot make the crossing, check whether Reach is available before continuing.

Fast-travel to The Spire in the Underpass. The orange-pipe island is reached from this area, rather than by approaching from a separate region. The route and prerequisite are described in the NerdsChalk island walkthrough and the AllThingsHow Underpass Fault walkthrough.

Cross the floating pillars to the island
- From The Spire, head toward the orange-pipe island and locate the floating pillars across the gap.
- Use Reach points as you cross, moving from pillar to pillar until you arrive on the island.
- Once there, look for the Fast Travel Door and the route leading behind or through the pipe structure.
Walkthrough descriptions vary on the exact interior approach: one describes going behind the pipes into a chamber, while another describes climbing toward an illuminated entrance and descending. Follow the visible opening and your objective marker rather than relying on a single fixed sequence of turns.

Clear the chamber before continuing
The route through the structure leads into a chamber where walkthroughs report Mold or other fungal enemies. Defeat the enemies blocking the route, then continue through the corridor. The published guides do not establish a fixed enemy count or recommend a particular loadout.

Continue through the structure toward the central Fault area. Published walkthroughs disagree about the object used for the final interaction—descriptions refer to a portal, a fissure, or a TV—so do not depend on one object name. At the Fault, follow the interaction prompt displayed in your game to proceed.
