Choose a plan, confirm the current payment options and total charge, approve the payment in Google Pay or with the displayed UPI QR, then return to the provider’s site to confirm activation. SeekaHost India and VCCLHosting explicitly advertise Google Pay; CloudPe and Inservers list UPI. Those are provider statements, not a guarantee that every payment option appears for every order.
You do not need a VPS just to livestream on YouTube. YouTube’s setup uses an encoder, a stream URL and a private stream key. A VPS is an optional remote machine for relaying or encoding a stream.

How to pay for an Indian VPS with Google Pay UPI
- Choose a plan and review its terms. Check the VPS location, operating system, billing term, renewal amount, taxes, refund policy, traffic allowance and any restrictions on streaming or relaying before ordering.
- Open checkout and verify the payment methods. Select UPI or Google Pay only if it is actually shown. SeekaHost India and VCCLHosting explicitly list Google Pay, while CloudPe and Inservers list UPI. These are advertised options; availability can depend on the provider, transaction and account. Check the payment screen rather than assuming it will be offered.
- Approve the payment through the displayed flow. Follow the prompt to open Google Pay or scan the UPI QR shown by the provider. Never disclose your UPI PIN to a seller or support agent. Keep your YouTube stream key private as well.
- Confirm the order with the provider. Return to the VPS order page and wait for a paid or active status. Save the order confirmation and invoice. If your account is debited but the order still appears unpaid, contact the provider through its official support channel with the transaction reference. Do not pay again until the first payment’s status is resolved.
- Test before relying on the server. Once it is active and configured, test privately or with an unlisted stream and monitor YouTube’s stream health before a scheduled broadcast.
The payment pages establish that these providers advertise UPI or Google Pay, but do not establish that every checkout session will offer a particular method, how quickly a transaction will process, or how a provider will handle a refund. Confirm the live checkout and terms for your order.
Do you need a VPS to stream on YouTube?
No. YouTube’s encoder setup sends a feed to the Live Control Room’s stream URL using a stream key; its instructions do not require a VPS. A VPS is useful when you need a remote machine to relay an already-encoded feed or to run an encoding workflow without keeping your own computer on. It does not replace a camera or other video source, nor does it configure a working encoder for you.
#1 Best Overall
YouTube recommends RTMPS, the secure version of RTMP, where supported. Treat the stream key as a password: do not post it, share it with a VPS seller, or leave it exposed in a public configuration. Reset it if you believe it has been compromised. See YouTube’s live encoder setup and settings.
Choose a VPS for the actual streaming workload
Relay or transcode?
A relay-only server forwards a feed that has already been encoded. In that case, stable networking and sufficient traffic allowance matter most. If the VPS must encode or transcode video in real time, processor capacity becomes more important; some workflows may also depend on GPU support. Confirm the workload and software requirements before buying. A vendor’s suggested plan is not an independent performance test.

Check sustained upload and traffic terms
Do not treat an advertised 1 Gbps port as proof that a server can sustain the bitrate you need. The usable path may be affected by sustained throughput, contention, routing, provider policy or traffic limits. YouTube advises leaving bandwidth headroom beyond the total stream bitrate and checking outbound capacity.
Recommended Free Tools
YouTube’s current encoder guidance gives these H.264 recommendations: 1080p at 30 fps, 5–14 Mbps; 1080p at 60 fps, 6–17 Mbps. It recommends constant bitrate encoding, a two-second keyframe interval (not over four seconds), and supports up to 60 fps in the described settings. These are YouTube technical recommendations, not a guarantee of what a particular VPS route will sustain. Check the current YouTube encoder settings before configuring your broadcast.

Compare total cost and control
- Payment: Is UPI or Google Pay present in checkout, and is the amount in INR? Check for taxes or payment fees.
- Billing: Compare the amount due now with the renewal price, billing commitment and refund terms.
- Location and route: Confirm where the VPS is hosted and test the route to YouTube from that location if possible.
- Network: Determine whether data is capped, metered or described as unmetered. Read the acceptable-use terms and look for a stated sustained upload capacity.
- Workload and access: Check vCPU, RAM, any necessary hardware acceleration, operating-system choice, root or administrator access, support and recovery procedures.
Examples of providers advertising UPI or Google Pay
The following are examples of payment and plan claims published by the providers, not independently tested recommendations. Verify current checkout options, specifications and terms directly before ordering.
| Provider | Advertised payment information | Published plan detail |
|---|---|---|
| SeekaHost India | Advertises INR payment by UPI and Google Pay. | Not stated in the reviewed payment-page information. |
| VCCLHosting | Says it accepts UPI and Google Pay. | Not stated in the reviewed payment-page information. |
| CloudPe | Lists UPI; the reviewed result does not explicitly establish Google Pay. | Shows a starting plan price; the amount and comparable specifications are not stated here. |
| Inservers | Says UPI is accepted. | Markets a plan at ₹880/month with 2 vCores, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe and a 1 Gbps uplink. It says its minimum plan is sufficient for a single 1080p60 relay without transcoding; that suitability claim is the provider’s, not an independent benchmark. Price and terms may change. |
Common payment and setup problems
UPI or Google Pay is missing at checkout
The provider may not offer that method for your particular order or account. Recheck the checkout options and ask the provider through its official support channel before paying. Do not infer availability from a general marketing page.
Rank #4
Payment is debited but the order is still pending
Keep the transaction reference and contact official support. Avoid a second payment until the provider has checked whether the first one was received.
The stream drops or YouTube reports poor stream health
Check YouTube’s stream-health status, encoder output and connection. Compare the total bitrate with the VPS’s sustained outbound capacity and traffic policy; a headline port speed alone is not conclusive. Verify the encoder’s bitrate, keyframe interval and RTMPS destination against YouTube’s current settings.
Best Value
The VPS cannot handle the workload
Establish whether it is relaying or transcoding. A relay forwards an already encoded feed; real-time transcoding needs suitable compute resources. Recheck the software and hardware requirements rather than relying only on a vendor’s recommended plan.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is an always-on YouTube stream made from uploaded videos rather than a VPS to configure yourself, StreamNeo is a cloud alternative: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it streams the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo is for YouTube and uploaded-video playback, not camera streaming. Start your free day with StreamNeo.
