Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsYou can pay for a screenshot API subscription with UPI only if that specific provider offers UPI in its checkout for your account and plan. A payment processor’s support for UPI does not prove that a merchant has enabled it. Check the provider’s live checkout or ask its support team before subscribing.
First, identify the exact screenshot API
“Screenshot API” is not a unique service name, and similarly named providers can have different billing models. For example, screenshotapi.com describes pay-as-you-go billing with no subscriptions, while screenshot-api.net describes paid plans billed monthly in advance through Stripe, with prices in US dollars and monthly renewal until cancellation. Do not assume that one provider’s terms apply to another.

Confirm the provider’s exact domain and the plan you intend to buy before looking for a payment option. If the service is pay-as-you-go rather than subscription-based, there may be no recurring plan to pay for.

- Open the provider’s official checkout. Sign in if required and select the exact plan you want. Look for UPI as a payment option for your India-based account.
- Check the currency and total. Review the displayed currency and the final amount before authorizing payment. Do not assume that a USD-priced plan will be payable through UPI or that the amount will be converted in a particular way.
- Ask the provider if UPI is not listed. Ask whether UPI is supported for Indian customers on that specific plan and checkout. A general statement that the provider uses Stripe is not enough to confirm it.
- Review any recurring mandate before approving it. If checkout offers a UPI mandate, check the amount, frequency, and available pause or cancellation controls in the payment flow and your UPI app.
Why Stripe or Razorpay documentation is not enough
Stripe
Stripe’s general UPI information identifies India as the customer location and INR as the presentment currency. That describes processor-level capability; it does not confirm UPI is enabled by a particular merchant. The cited screenshot-api.net terms say its plans are billed through Stripe and priced in US dollars, but do not confirm UPI availability or explain whether that checkout supports a USD subscription through UPI. Verify with the provider rather than assuming.
Razorpay
Razorpay’s subscription documentation describes UPI subscriptions as early access, INR-only, and subject to a ₹5,000 limit. It also notes that a payment method may not be available on every account. These are Razorpay-specific constraints, not evidence that screenshotapi.com or screenshot-api.net uses Razorpay. Check current eligibility and details with Razorpay if its documentation is relevant to your own checkout.
If the checkout does not show UPI
- Ask the API provider which payment methods it accepts for an India-based account and your chosen plan.
- Ask whether the displayed currency and recurring billing terms differ by location or account.
- Use another payment method only if the provider offers it directly and you are comfortable with its terms.
- Do not route payment through another person’s account or treat installing a UPI app as proof that UPI is available at checkout.
Or skip the browser setup
If you need screenshot access rather than a particular vendor’s subscription, ScreenshotNeo is an alternative to consider. It is a website screenshot API and MCP server for developers. Its payment methods for Indian customers are not established here, so confirm the available method in its checkout before purchasing a paid plan.

One GET request can return a screenshot or PDF. For example, this cURL request saves a WebP screenshot of Stripe:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options. ScreenshotNeo removes cookie or consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are not billed. Its MCP server lets AI agents use screenshot tools. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.
