To pair JBL Endurance Peak 4 earbuds, turn them on, enable Bluetooth on your phone or other device, and select JBL Endurance Peak 4 from its available Bluetooth devices. If pairing remains broken, factory-reset the earbuds by triple-tapping either earbud and holding on the third tap for more than five seconds, then pair them again.
Pair JBL Endurance Peak 4 with a phone, tablet, or computer
- Turn on the earbuds and open Bluetooth settings on the device you want to connect.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled, then look for available or discoverable devices.
- Select JBL Endurance Peak 4 to connect, as directed in JBL’s quick start guide.
On compatible Android devices, Google Fast Pair may show a pairing prompt. The guide also illustrates Microsoft Swift Pair on Windows 10 version 1803 or later. These prompts depend on device compatibility and settings; choosing the earbuds in Bluetooth settings is the direct alternative.

The quick start guide’s LED legend shows separate states for Bluetooth connecting, connected, and not connected. Use those indicators to tell whether the earbuds are still establishing a link or have connected.

Connect the earbuds to two devices
JBL says the Endurance Peak 4 supports multipoint connection with up to two Bluetooth devices, as well as Google Fast Pair; see the JBL product page. If you are pairing with a second device, select the earbuds from that device’s Bluetooth list as well. A Fast Pair prompt is optional and requires a compatible device and settings.

Factory-reset the JBL Endurance Peak 4
- Triple-tap either earbud.
- On the third tap, keep pressing and hold for more than five seconds.
JBL’s model-specific factory reset guidance says the earbuds power off and reset. The reset erases settings and Bluetooth data. JBL advises that you may need to remove or forget the earbuds in the host device’s paired-device list; afterward, pair and connect again.
Pair again after a reset
- In the phone, tablet, or computer’s Bluetooth settings, remove or forget any saved JBL Endurance Peak 4 entry if it remains listed.
- Turn on the earbuds and Bluetooth on the device.
- Select JBL Endurance Peak 4 from the available devices to establish a fresh connection.
Make sure you are using the Peak 4 reset procedure
The triple-tap-and-hold method applies to the Endurance Peak 4 and Peak 3, according to JBL Support. Earlier Endurance Peak and Peak 2 models use different instructions, so do not apply this procedure to those models.

When pairing trouble may be software-related
JBL’s firmware release notes document changes related to connection and sound, but they do not promise that an update will fix a particular pairing problem. Version 25.33.10, dated September 1, 2025, lists improved Bluetooth connection among its changes. Version 26.04.10, dated January 21, 2026, describes improved security during pairing with Google Fast Pair. Version 26.13.10, dated April 2, 2026, addresses no audio when Personi-Fi was enabled.
