To find your way through an ARC Raiders raid, check the active map and conditions before deployment, use a map to identify available exits, and plan a primary route plus a fallback. Extraction is never guaranteed to be safe: starting it can reveal your location, and you must survive the countdown while other Raiders and ARC machines may respond.
Check the map and raid conditions before you deploy
A guide last reviewed October 8, 2026 lists seven raid maps: Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, The Blue Gate, Riven Tides, Stella Montis, and Pendola Pass. It describes the Practice Range as a separate training area. The guide reports Pendola Pass arrived with the Frozen Trail update on October 8; because this is a secondary guide rather than an official update notice, check current in-game information or official patch notes for changes. GameBrief’s map guide is date-stamped, but map availability and mechanics can change with updates.

That guide reports a default raid duration of 30 minutes, with 40-minute runs during Hidden Bunker on Spaceport and Locked Gate on The Blue Gate. Treat those as version-sensitive figures, not permanent timers; check the current raid screen and update notes before relying on them.

Conditions can change which exits are usable. GameBrief says an Electromagnetic Storm leaves fewer active return points and disables Raider Hatches. Do not route toward a hatch until you have confirmed that one is available under the current conditions.

Use a map to choose an exit and a fallback
An interactive map can help you orient yourself and identify extraction markers alongside other relevant points. ArcMaps is a third-party directory whose maps offer filters for extraction points, containers, quest objectives, blueprints, sentinels, and live events; it says the maps work on desktop and mobile and are updated regularly. It is not an official source, and its directory lists six map sectors, while GameBrief’s October 8 guide lists seven raid maps. That mismatch may reflect update timing or coverage, so verify any newly added map and its details in game.
- Confirm your destination. Check which map and condition are active before deploying, then use the in-game view or map tool to orient yourself.
- Pick a primary exit. Find a plausible extraction marker and consider distance, terrain, remaining raid time, and the ARC and player exposure along the way.
- Choose a fallback. Identify another exit you could reach if the first is unavailable, contested, or impractical. Check that its extraction type is usable under the current condition.
- Adapt as you move. Reassess after encountering other Raiders, ARC threats, useful loot, or a change in circumstances. A route is a plan, not a commitment.
GameBrief lists four extraction types: cargo elevators, metro stations, airshafts, and Raider Hatches. It says Raider Hatches require a Raider Hatch Key and open briefly for one Raider at a time. These details can change, so check the current in-game rules before building a plan around a particular exit.
Prepare for the extraction countdown
Starting an extraction can create visible and audible signals that alert nearby players and ARC machines. A guide updated October 7, 2026 advises healing before approaching and keeping an alternate exit in mind; this is general guidance, not a tested route or assurance of safety. - Expect the countdown and extraction signals to draw attention; avoid treating the activation point as a guaranteed refuge.
- Keep your fallback route in mind in case the exit is unavailable or the approach becomes dangerous.
Make the route fit the raid you are in
There is no evidence here that one named exit is reliably the safest. Compare options using the current condition, exit type and availability, distance and terrain to a fallback, time remaining, and how much exposure to ARC and other players you are willing to risk. Keep the plan flexible: a marker on a map shows where an exit is, not whether the route or countdown will be safe when you arrive.
