WhatsApp needs separate attention: its chat-transfer option may appear during Android setup, but it is not guaranteed for every OnePlus model. Keep the iPhone intact until you have checked the important data on the new phone.
Before you start
- Charge both phones and, if practical, install available software updates. Check that the OnePlus has enough free storage; Clone Phone’s app listing says you can transfer in batches or clear space if storage is insufficient.
- On the iPhone, sign in to iCloud and enable syncing for the categories you want, such as Contacts and Photos. Let syncing finish before importing if the OnePlus instructions call for it.
- Keep the iPhone, its apps, and its data available. Do not erase it, sign out, or trade it in until you have verified the transfer.
- If WhatsApp matters, keep it installed and working on the iPhone until chats and media are confirmed on the OnePlus. An iCloud WhatsApp backup should not be assumed to restore automatically to Android.
Move photos and contacts with Clone Phone
OnePlus’s support pages describe a QR-based iOS transfer, with iCloud synchronization required for selected content in some flows. Labels can differ by app and OxygenOS version, so follow the instructions shown on the actual OnePlus rather than assuming every model has the same screens. OnePlus’s Ireland support instructions and US transfer page describe these routes.

- On the OnePlus, open Clone Phone and choose This is the new device. Select iPhone as the old phone if prompted.
- On the iPhone, open Clone Phone, choose This is the old device, and scan the QR code shown on the OnePlus. If the app or setup screen presents a different iOS transfer path, use its displayed prompts.
- Select the data categories you want to move, such as photos and contacts, then start the transfer. If prompted to sign in to iCloud or enable category sync, complete that step and allow the sync to finish.
- Wait for the transfer to complete before closing the apps or disconnecting the phones. The OnePlus 11 manual describes an iCloud-based variant and advises Wi-Fi; treat that procedure as model-specific, not a universal replacement for current on-screen directions.
Clone Phone’s listing names contacts, photos, videos, calendar, and other categories, but says support varies by operating system and Android version. It does not guarantee a complete, identical copy of every item or its organization. Check older and recent photos, albums, and contact details on the OnePlus before relying on the transfer.

Transfer WhatsApp separately
WhatsApp migration is a distinct Android setup flow, not something to assume Clone Phone has handled. Google describes a cable-based process: connect the iPhone to the Android phone with a USB-C to Lightning cable and scan a QR code on the iPhone when prompted during setup. Google’s October 26, 2021 explanation described that flow for supported Android phones; it does not establish that every current OnePlus model offers it.

- During OnePlus setup, watch for a WhatsApp transfer prompt or QR instruction. Availability can depend on the phone and software rollout.
- If the prompt appears, follow the on-screen instructions. Use a cable only when that flow requests it and the cable matches your iPhone’s connector.
- After setup, open WhatsApp on the OnePlus and check that the expected conversations and media are present before removing WhatsApp or data from the iPhone.
The current Clone Phone app listing names contacts, SMS, call history, calendar, photos, videos, audio, and certain app data, but does not promise WhatsApp chat-history migration for every iPhone-to-OnePlus pairing. If no WhatsApp transfer option appears, consult current WhatsApp and OnePlus support for your specific model rather than relying on an unverified third-party migration tool.
Which connection method should you use?

These are different transfer paths, not interchangeable requirements: do not buy a cable unless your phone’s setup flow calls for one, and do not assume every route works offline. The Clone Phone Google Play listing says Android-to-OnePlus migration does not need a network connection, while iOS transfers may require data connectivity.

Check the OnePlus before wiping the iPhone
- Open Photos or Gallery and spot-check recent and older pictures, videos, and albums.
- Open Contacts and inspect several records, including names and details you rely on.
- Open WhatsApp and check important conversations and media if you transferred chats.
- Keep the iPhone available if an expected category is missing; you may need to retry a step or use a different route shown for your model.
Do not assume album structure, edits, hidden items, or every file format will carry over unchanged. OnePlus warns that compatibility affects which data can be transferred; its OnePlus 11 manual likewise notes that only some data formats may transfer.

Newer wireless transfer rollout
Google describes a newer wireless iPhone-to-Android process developed with Apple that can transfer items such as passwords, photos, messages, matched apps, contacts, home-screen layout, and eSIM. Its current device rollout page says the launch starts with Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel and lists OnePlus 15 as “Coming Soon.” Do not assume that flow is available on all OnePlus phones; check the setup options and current status on your device.
