Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTo move a Hindi pre-recorded YouTube Live loop from Restream to OneStream Live, reconnect the same YouTube channel in OneStream, recreate the event and its Hindi metadata, set the repeat behavior, then run and verify a test before ending the Restream schedule. Treat this as a manual rebuild: provider documentation does not describe an import that transfers Restream events, schedules, uploads, or settings.
Before switching: capture your current setup
Record the details you will need to rebuild the broadcast, and keep a local copy of the source video if you need to preserve the complete original.

- Any archive or recording you need to retain outside YouTube.
Do not assume that uploading or scheduling the event in OneStream will bring over the Restream version or metadata.

Check YouTube Live eligibility first
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-stream restrictions in the previous 90 days; creators must be at least 16 to livestream. Check the channel’s eligibility before scheduling the replacement. If the wrong channel appears during authorization, check which Google account is selected and connect the account that owns the intended channel. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance and Restream’s YouTube connection guidance.

Reconnect your YouTube channel in OneStream Live
- Sign in to OneStream Live and open Social Platforms.
- Choose Add Account, then select YouTube.
- Authorize the Google account that owns the intended YouTube channel. If Google offers multiple accounts, choose the correct one and confirm the channel shown after connection.
OneStream recommends connecting platform accounts before streaming. Its setup steps are in How to start your first live stream.
Recreate the pre-recorded event
- Choose Pre-recorded Stream in OneStream.
- Add the video from Device, OSL Storage, or Cloud Storage.
- Select the connected YouTube channel as the destination.
- Enter the event title, description, tags, and thumbnail again. Check that the Hindi text, spelling, and thumbnail are correct; do not rely on the old Restream event to populate them.
- Set the audience visibility and schedule the date, time, and time zone you intend to use.
OneStream’s first-stream guide describes choosing a video, destination, event details, and schedule. Use the workflow in its setup guide if the labels in your account differ.
Choose finite repeats or continuous 24/7 streaming
If the old event had a fixed repeat count
Set the repeat count deliberately in OneStream’s loop control. Its help procedure documents up to 60 loops. Restream documents up to 10 repeats, with looping available on its Marathon and Media add-on plans. The counts describe each service’s documented loop control; they are not a transfer of your existing Restream setting. OneStream’s steps are in How to Loop a Pre-recorded Stream?; Restream’s are in Restream’s pre-recorded streaming guidance.

If you want the channel to run continuously
OneStream separately describes an infinite 24/7 streaming option for YouTube only. Check your account dashboard and current plan to confirm that the feature is available to you, and verify the exact control before relying on it. The documented feature distinction is explained in OneStream’s streaming options. A finite loop count and an infinite 24/7 mode are not interchangeable.

Test the replacement before ending Restream
- Schedule a private or unlisted test if your channel workflow permits it.
- Open the event in YouTube Studio and confirm it is on the intended channel and has the correct Hindi title, description, thumbnail, visibility, and start time.
- Watch the start of the stream. Confirm the video plays, audio is present, and the selected repeat behavior is correct.
- Monitor audio and video during the test, then verify the event is accessible as intended.
- Only after the new event is verified, end or remove the old Restream schedule. Avoid scheduling both services to broadcast to the same channel at once unless that is intentional.
- Schedule the public version in OneStream and check it again in YouTube Studio.
YouTube’s guidance recommends checking event accessibility and monitoring stream quality. See YouTube’s live-streaming guidance.
Restream vs OneStream for this migration
| Decision | Restream documentation | OneStream Live documentation | What to do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-recorded event | Select or upload a video, enter event details, choose a destination, and schedule it. | Select or upload a video, choose a destination, enter details, and schedule it. | Recreate the event in OneStream and verify the destination. |
| Finite looping | Up to 10 repeats; looping is available on Marathon and Media add-on plans. | Up to 60 loops in the loop procedure. | Choose a new repeat count intentionally; do not expect it to import. |
| Continuous 24/7 mode | The cited pre-recorded-stream documentation describes up to 10 loops, not an infinite YouTube loop. | Infinite 24/7 looping is described for YouTube only; account entitlement is not established by the documentation. | Check the OneStream dashboard and plan before relying on continuous mode. |
| YouTube archive | Restream’s YouTube guide notes that YouTube archives streams under 12 hours. | YouTube says streams over 12 hours may not be captured at all. | Keep a local source or recording if you need a complete copy of a long loop. |
Copyright, monetization, and archive limits
Rights to video and audio
Before rebroadcasting, confirm you have the rights to the video, music, images, and other third-party material. YouTube’s livestream terms require the content provider to hold necessary rights, including applicable music rights, and say live content must comply with its Community Guidelines. Review YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions.
Monetization is a separate question
Moving a loop to another streaming provider does not make it eligible for monetization. In its clarification dated July 15, 2025, YouTube identifies repetitive or mass-produced material as potentially inauthentic content. Its examples include highly repetitive content with little educational value, commentary, narrative, or variation. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies.
Do not rely on one complete YouTube archive for a 24/7 loop
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while a stream over 12 hours may not be captured at all. A continuous loop should not be treated as a dependable complete replay; retain the source locally if the full program matters. See YouTube’s archive live streams guidance.

Encoder settings are not usually the migration controls
Restream’s YouTube guide recommends H.264, CBR, two-second keyframes, and AAC or MP3 audio for encoder streaming. Those settings apply when configuring an encoder; a cloud pre-recorded workflow may not expose them as controls. If you are separately sending an encoder stream, consult Restream’s YouTube guidance rather than assuming those settings govern the uploaded-video loop.

OneStream connects the wrong YouTube channel
Disconnect or correct the account connection, then authorize the Google account that owns the intended channel. Check the selected Google profile during authorization and confirm the destination before scheduling.
The stream will not start
Confirm the channel is verified, has no live-stream restriction in the prior 90 days, and meets YouTube’s age requirement. Recheck the connected account, destination, scheduled time, and that the selected video is available to OneStream.

The event appears with missing or incorrect Hindi details
Edit the event in OneStream and re-enter its title, description, tags, or thumbnail as needed. These details should be recreated rather than presumed to transfer from Restream.
The YouTube replay is incomplete or absent
Check the stream’s duration against YouTube’s 12-hour archive guidance. Keep a local source or recording when a complete long-form archive is important.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you would rather not recreate and operate the loop through your own computer, StreamNeo runs an uploaded video as a 24/7 YouTube stream from the cloud.
