Afterward, confirm the displayed end date or cancelled status.
Identify the seller and account for each charge
Do not assume that a bank statement mentioning Game Pass or Ubisoft+ tells you which account or company controls billing. Check the receipt and statement entry, then record the merchant descriptor, charge date, amount, account email, plan, and next renewal or expiration date. Review each service separately.

If a subscription does not appear in the account you expected, check other email addresses and accounts before treating the charge as a duplicate. Microsoft says subscriptions bought through another store, such as Google Play or Apple, must be cancelled with that seller. Do not call two statement entries duplicate subscriptions based only on matching amounts or dates. The available support guidance does not establish whether an individual bank entry is pending, reversed, or a second settled renewal. If the receipt and account do not explain it, ask the seller or your payment provider to clarify.

Cancel Microsoft-billed Xbox Game Pass
- Sign in to the Microsoft account used to buy the subscription.
- Open Services & Subscriptions and find the Game Pass plan.
- Select Manage, then follow the cancellation or End subscription prompts shown for your account.
- Read the resulting status and record the displayed expiration date. Save the confirmation email or take a screenshot.
Microsoft says that when recurring billing is off, the subscription is already paid for and ends when its remaining duration runs out. Access may therefore continue through the displayed end date, subject to the options in your account and applicable regional terms. Microsoft’s cancellation instructions.
What “Turn on recurring billing” means
If Microsoft shows Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage, Microsoft says the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not automatically charge again after that date. Cancel Ubisoft+ through the seller on your receipt
Ubisoft’s US terms state that a Ubisoft+ subscription renews monthly at the then-current subscription price until cancelled, charging the selected payment method. If Ubisoft is the seller shown on your receipt, use the Ubisoft account associated with the subscription and follow its subscription-management controls to cancel renewal. If a third-party seller took payment, use that seller’s account and cancellation process instead; Ubisoft says third-party billing, payment, cancellation, and refund terms may differ. Ubisoft says access to subscription benefits and games ends after the current subscription period. Note the end date, and distinguish games available through the subscription from games you bought separately. Ubisoft Support.
Verify the cancellation and handle charges that remain
- Save the cancellation confirmation and note the end date.
- Return to the seller’s subscription page. Look for a cancelled status, an expiration date, or—on Microsoft’s page—Turn on recurring billing rather than an active renewal action.
- If the subscription is missing, check other accounts and compare them with the receipt’s seller.
- If the account and statement still do not reconcile, contact the seller or your payment provider for help identifying the charge.
Cancellation stops future renewal according to the seller’s terms; it does not by itself establish that an existing charge qualifies for a refund. Check the seller’s refund eligibility and the terms for your country and purchase route before relying on a refund.

Regional and account considerations
Microsoft’s cancellation guidance and Ubisoft’s cited subscription terms may not describe every country’s consumer rights, refund rules, taxes, billing options, or interface. Ubisoft’s cited monthly-renewal terms are for the US; prices depend on the current offer and billing address, so there is no stable price to rely on here. Use the terms and controls displayed for your region and seller.
