WooCommerce is installed and activated automatically after Bluehost AI Store generates your website. To check or change its enabled state, go to Websites > Manage Site > Plugins in the Bluehost Portal. To manage the store in WooCommerce, open Edit Site > WordPress icon > WP admin, then select WooCommerce in the WordPress dashboard.
Enable or disable the WooCommerce plugin
Use the Bluehost Portal’s site-management controls to change WooCommerce’s state. Bluehost’s AI-generated sites restrict certain WordPress admin features, including installing, deactivating, or deleting plugins and installing or switching themes.

- Log in to the Bluehost Portal and select Websites from the left menu.
- Find the relevant site under the Sell Online plan. If you have several sites and do not see it, select Load More when that option appears.
- Select Manage Site, then open the Plugins tab.
- Find WooCommerce in the installed plugin list and use its toggle to enable or disable it.
Bluehost says access to some WordPress Admin features is limited on AI-generated websites to help keep them secure and running smoothly. For this managed AI Store setup, use the Portal toggle rather than the standard WordPress plugin-install interface. Bluehost’s WooCommerce activation and access instructions and its AI-site guidance describe these controls.

- In the Bluehost Portal, select Websites and find the relevant Sell Online site. Select Load More if needed.
- Select Edit Site.
- In the editor, select the WordPress icon in the upper-right corner, then choose WP admin. The WordPress dashboard opens in a new tab.
- In the dashboard’s left menu, select WooCommerce to open WooCommerce Home.
WooCommerce Home includes setup tasks, notices, store performance information, and management tools. To return to the AI Store editor from WooCommerce, Bluehost says to select Edit with Bluehost AI Builder in the top menu. See the Bluehost support instructions for the documented navigation.
What you can do from WooCommerce Home
WooCommerce Home can surface setup tasks, notifications, performance information, and management tools. Bluehost’s instructions also describe optional next steps such as marketing extensions, inbox notifications, statistics, and store management. None of these is required just to access the dashboard.

Payment options in AI Store
Bluehost’s support article lists WooPayments, PayPal, Stripe, and Amazon Pay among options supported by WooCommerce generally, but says Stripe is currently the only payment method supported in AI Store. Do not assume the broader WooCommerce provider list is available in this hosted product; availability may change.
Optional mobile app
The WooCommerce mobile app is an optional way to track sales, manage orders, and monitor a store from a mobile device. It is not needed to activate WooCommerce or open WooCommerce Home. Bluehost’s article does not establish that the app offers every setting available in WooCommerce Home.

- Monitoraggio in tempo reale delle performance del tuo hosting.
- Gestione facile e sicura di domini e risorse.
- Accesso diretto al supporto clienti.
- Notifiche personalizzate per promozioni e aggiornamenti.
- Pannello utente intuitivo e veloce.
Dashboard access does not mean the store is published
Opening WooCommerce Home lets you work with store tools, but it does not establish that the storefront is live or ready to accept orders. Bluehost’s onboarding guide identifies these setup areas: creating pages, adding products, customizing the storefront, adding store details, reviewing taxes, configuring shipping, and setting up payments. Its customer-journey guide describes a 14-day free trial for exploring store creation and previewing the website, and says upgrading to the Sell Online plan is required to publish the website, sell products, and process orders.
For the setup sequence, see Bluehost’s online store setup guide and its customer journey guide.
